Yep. It was starting to click.

Reid v. Shanny was fun to watch offensively.
Silver lining: We way be in position to draft a marquee pass rusher next year which if everything goes at least average it would give us enough push to get to the playoffs

Not so silver lining: Oakland may be worse than us and take the better pass rusher
The only positive thing I can muster up is the fact that CJ (who seems like a real good dude) gets another shot at making a name for himself. I wish him the beat and hopefully he does well enough to at least win all our home games!
Just like some of you I'm not high on CJ. I think he is what he is. A career back up. I don't think he's awful but limited in arm strength. I want to be positive with him now in there but just given the fact that our defense is putrid and the injuries keep mounting up I can't see us winning more than 3 games. I guess that's a positive in regards to draft position.

Hey, we're still in 2nd place.

Not really
our cheerleaders are hawt
There are only 2 things that can happen.

1. Cj Beatherd is the next Jesus Christ.

2. We draft in the top 5

I don't know about you guys, but I'm cool with either one.

Yeah accuracy and holding on to the ball too long are his big issues. He has enough arm strength to be successful

Huh?

If your judge of arm strength is "Can he throw 50 yards?", then sure... his arm is fine. The question should be "How long does it take for him to throw 50 yards?". That is, undoubtably, below average.

We can root for CJ without making stuff up.

That doesn't mean he isn't limited in arm strength.

He is absolutely "limited" in arm strength. It was his knock coming in. It was his knock last season. And it was his knock during the preseason.

Yes. CJ Beathard can throw the ball long enough. No, he can not do it with any strength. How is this even open to debate?
