You are in the wrong thread. We have this thread for when we feel like kicking puppies.

I think the wait and see approach sounds great. Maybe these coaches will surprise us. I think this season rests squarely on Baalke and how he handles the roster between free agency and the draft. If you give this staff a supremely talented roster, they may have a shot.

Bowman, Willis and Aldon back hopefully justin Smith ....Lynch and Tank improving, sort our corners out.
If the defense is healthy they are top three in the league and any improvement on offense we"ll win 11 games at least.
I'm personally excited to see new ideas on offense and better in game management. No doom and gloom here.
I hope Colim Development ... less tv shows , advertising and media

Everyone just needs to relax, take a chill pill, woo sah or what ever you need to do. Give this coaching staff a chance to prove themselves before you start bashing them. Tomsula is a "players coach", he will get the best out of players and with a talented roster like we have we'll be fine. Mangini is a very capable DC so defense will be just as good. Chryst knows Kap inside and out so i'm sure he will play to his strengths and the strengths of the offense as a whole. Most OC's started out as QB coaches so give him a chance, who knows he might be the next great OC. Plus they've hired a lot of experience in their position coaches, I'm personally looking forward to seeing what VD and Mcdonald do under Sparano. So in the words of Aaron Rodgers "R-E-L-A-X"

Sorry man, there is no silver lining right now... If the 49ers can some how improve above .500 with this less than stellar staff it will be a miracle. I have a bad feeling wholesale cuts with players are next. We'll probably be saying good-bye to Cowboy, Gore, Vernon Davis, and probably a couple other fan favorites. "Reloading", my a$$. Right now on paper we have an 8 and 8 team, talent-wise and a 5 and 11 type coaching staff, so I figure our record in 2015 will probably be 7 and 9, 6 and 10. If there is any silver lining it's that Tomsula and Baalke will more than likely be fired after this next season.

I keep hearing Tomsula's players play hard for him. Every defensive lineman i can think of coached by him has played at or above their potential. AND if Singletary can take a less talented team to 8-8, then there's hope

I think this is the year we find out how being CHEAP with a coaching staff can really effect team performance. There is no silver lining, and next season will feel like a huge waste of time IMO with coaches who have no business being where they are. There is no passing go, no collecting $200, and welcome to mediocrity again. I guess on a positive note, being eliminated by November gives me time to take a vacation worry free....

My optimistic take:
Our offense was not going to get any better under the old regime and according to the beat writers if Roman had been promoted to HC somewhere, CHRYST would of been promoted to OC and Mangini to QB coach… This way at least we have Mangini back on defense.
IF and its a big IF, Tomsula can be the guy to bring Chryst, Sparano, Foerster, Logan, etc all together into working as a team… there is more than enough knowledge in the room to make the offense work. Defensively Im not worried. Even though he skipped the position, Tomsula would make a good DC, he knows what Fangio did to be successful and if Mangini starts to get abused he can step in and tell him 'its all about that base' defense.

I'm sure this has been beaten into the ground by now by people attempting to add some optimism for the coming season, but one has to admit that the personnel, especially on defense, is still very, very good.
On defense, I see pro-bowl talent coming back from injuries and dedicated to showing everyone that they're still as powerful as they always were. I see a DC who will more than likely be more aggressive with blitzing, which I like.
The offense has GOT to get better and what Kaepernick is doing this off season is incredibly important IMO. My guess is that the team will go more to a zone blocking scheme that helps with pass protection but still be able to run - maybe even more able if they can get a decent passing game together that defenses need to respect.
On the coaching staff, I'm kind of amazed at how little respect so many Niner fans have for these guys who have been pros for years working a variety of roles in the NFL, Europe and College. Everyone seems to think that if one had less than stellar results on another given team, you automatically aren't going to have success with this Niner team. I don't buy that at all. There are lots of examples of coaches having success after less than successful jobs elsewhere.
So I say wait and see, give them the benefit of the doubt for now and hope for the best.
