This made me LOL
Injured guys can get healthy now.
Nearly the whole roster and PS now has actual NFL game experience.
Kittle and Pettis.
Lots of cap space.
Another year in the schemes.

And the sh&tshow that was most of this season is finally over.

That's a good point. Some of those guys (Wilson) have proved that they can play in this league if they hold onto the ball. Not sure how tall Wilson is but his running style kinda reminds me of Ricky Watters, how he runs more upright. Hope he fixes his fumbling issue and makes the roster next year.
Our franchise had a turning point against Seattle!

#winning?
There is no doubt that Jimmy's injury really messed this year up. I do think there were positives however.

1) TE Kittle! Amazing, breakout year by a huge weapon moving forward. Just finished his second year and will be an inspiration for other young players on the team.
2) DT Buckner: A flat out stud. Pay the man his money (next year)...
3) OT McGlinchey: A fine year in general by the rookie RT. He should a cornerstone on the OL for many years to come.
4) LB Warner: Became an effective starter in his rookie year, which was huge with the Foster flame-out looming.
5) LB Lee: Don't know if he will be a starter moving forward but if not, he will be an excellent depth player. Really showed growth in the second half of the season and again, helped fill the void left by Foster.
6) WR Pettis: Didn't show much in the first half but came on after coming back from injury and showed enough to warrant his second round status (maybe)...
7) QB Mullins: For an UFA QB, he far exceeded expectations and should be a solid backup for the next couple of years. Showed poise, leadership, maturity, and decent talent. Great coaching certainly helped but this guy loves the game, works incredibly hard and overall, played well. Gotta respect that.
8) DL Blair: A nice find by Baalke, actually. Certainly a piece moving forward. Just solid in all areas and works his butt off. Makes plays when they matter.
9) SS Harris: Plays with passion. Seems to really love the game and has some talent. Hopefully, he continues to develop.
10) DB Moore: Also showed some nice flashes. Definitely needs more experience and more work on technique but seems to be another piece moving forward.
11) RBs: It seems like Kyle can put almost anyone in that position and get production. Nice growth by Breida and Mostert going into next year.
12) General: Mainly because of a plethora of injuries, the Niners will get a coveted player in the draft, who, hopefully, will make an immediate impact.

There are also lots of players (and coaches) that one could criticize but this is a silver lining thread so I'll refrain from that in this post.

Cheers!

I hope with the freakish number of injuries this season, the training staff re-evaluates whatever they're doing and tries something different to keep guys safer and in better shape. Injuries gotta go down from here right

Hopefully Jimmy felt some nerves with Mullens trying to take his job and balls out hard next year.

We can't go THREE straight years of playing sloppy and undisciplined ball right??
And, aside from getting the injured players back, one of the two franchise players in the draft will be ours. Unless someone throws a bucket load of picks at us to trade down.

Either way its a good thing yes? This could be a very enjoyable off season.

There seems to be at least 6 good pass rush available so maybe getting more picks would be better after the diamonds they found later in the past 2 drafts.
