Ban the wearing of gloves and we'll see who the real WR's are. Have you ever felt those gloves? They'll stick to just about anything.

Just put an asterisk on every team's Super Bowl victory for all the holding by offensive lines that was never called over and over again throughout NFL history.

So let's recap:
The Patriots stole signals. It was common practice in the league to document/record signals and for coaching staff to study the signals later on. In 2006, a memo was sent out restricting where the recording/documenting could be done (Not even making the act illegal, just restricting area where it could be scouted), the Pats disregarded the memo, recorded where they wanted to, and were disciplined for it. The media, namely ESPN dubbed it "Spygate" and everyone on this board called them "Cheaters" now because of it. Don't get me started on the rush to judgment on "deflategate" which is turning into a joke more and more every day. That didn't stop the rush to judgment here without knowing any facts.
So now Jerry Rice admits to "Cheating" by using an illegal substance to catch the ball. Now the theme here is "Everyone was doing it" or "Who cares" huh? How many of you folks are going to step up, be consistent, and say that the 49ers are "cheaters?" And this isn't even mentioning the salary cap violations.
And if you think this is going away, you're wrong. Come Monday morning every troll on the interwebs and talking head on ESPN will be running the 49ers and Rice's achievements through the mud. All over nothing. Just wait.

I will be the first to say Jerry cheated and the Patriots cheated. What I am all about what I am saying is will Goodell punish NE? Will Goodell punish Brady? Will Goodell punish Bellicheck? People can say what they want but NE was caught cheating again. I want them fined and suspended and docked for draft picks just like Goodell did NO. I do not want NE skating by. They were caught not confessed like Rice. They need to be punished and not excused

I can't even bring myself to address the ignorance in your deflategate comments...
Should Jerry Rice now be known as a cheater, get credentials taken away and have asterisks next to his name?

Who you cousin? Did I call you ignorant anywhere here? You running off at the mouth at dudes you don't know. I don't know if they will be found guilty or not but if they are I want them punished. Just like NO was and we saw no injury tied to bounty there but they found deflated balls. If you want to name call PM me and I will get with you but you need to have some respect on this site. Opinions differ. Deal with it. If the balls were deflated I want to hear all the ignorance is not an excuse talk I heard with NO. I have a doctorate degree but on the zone I'm ignorant! I believe Jerry Rice is the greatest football player of all time. And what is about to happen is going to piss me off. This whole "they cheated" mantra sensationalized by the media. It's stupid. It is going to take this to happen for people on this board to realize how dumb it is. These men gave their hearts and souls to the game. Worked endlessly for what they've achieved, and should be recognized for it. I don't view any of this stuff as "Cheating".

Lulz, cue the lengthy (and idiotic) article by Tim Kawakami and also the scathing critique by Mike Florio.
Edit: Looks like we already got a scathing critique from Florio haha. Anyone wanna take bets on how long it will take for Timmy K to put out a piece?

I didn't "name call" anyone, what are you talking about? If someone to pass judgment without knowing the facts is the exact definition of "ignorance".

You did. You need to accept that posters here are entitled to hold opinions with which you may not agree. Settle down and talk football.

You're a Moderator saying I "name called" someone when I was clearly and specifically talking about a comment? This this real life?
