as you get older you realize that these guys are all great athletes but most of them arent very bright and lack common sense.

What I was trying to get at was back then there really were dumb jocks and nerds. Now jocks want to wear spectacles and pretend to be intelligent. Hey aaub22 have you read the rule? I attached it on this post for you. So the stickum obviously was not all over the uniform or the ball when Jerry played.We all know how Jerry was with his uniform. So according to the post above it was allowed under those circumstances. So again, is it "cheating" if its allowed under the roles under certain circumstances? I'm willing to give Rice a pass on this for this reason. now if rice looked like Biletnikoff or Lester Hayes with stickum all over them. that is entirely different.
