Is it finally over? Please let this be the last piece of bad news for this offseason.
I would venture to say, this has probably been one of the worst offseasons in NFL history. The talent drain has been staggering. Let's hope the guys the Niners have left step up big time.

Why is this bad news??? If he were still elite it would suck but he, Pat and Gore are a few years past elite. Sorry, it's true. More cap space. Hell of a career and a borderline HOF player. Enjoyed having him and to bad injuries took their toll the last few years but good luck in the next phase of life.
