end of the day I'm fine going BPA (after we trade down hopefully), we have a good team and depending on who we lose in FA don't have a ton of holes to fill.

I say we Trade for Trent Williams of the Redskins..

Then we can start developing young players (BPA) since it looks like we're drafting late this year.

That would cost FAR too much both in draft capital and cap money.

Who would you give up for Williams? AA? Kittle? BB? Ward?

Those are the level of guys that would go without a contract if we spent what it would take to sign Williams with his injury history.
just draft who we need for the o line. maybe ross reynolds will come along.. but if you are asking. you dump jet goodwin and pettis. that could create some space

Agree!

I don't really care what might happen with those three guys. I just don't want to see resources wasted on Trent Williams.

I highly doubt Washington would trade with the 49ers anyway unless they thought they were getting the best end of the deal. Lynch isn't going to do that.

How is Brunskill not our starting RT? Elite performance.

Should have just kept Trenton Brown.

Thanks for those resources...appreciate that.

no prob...we should start a "Hog Molly" thread in the draft forum. For all you OL lovers

That would certainly bring good traffic!

I second the motion!
Brunskill was a hell of a find.

Wasn't Skule banged up anyway?

I'm not for moving Brunskill to G, at least not long term. Small sample size, but I think he can handle RT when Staley retires and McG moves to LT. Hell, after last night it might be better to play Brunskill at LT and keep McG at RT after Joe retires.

I'd be looking for an interior O-lineman with our 1st round pick. But I agree with NY, we probably won't spend a high pick on one.

I am surprised that KS still didn't start Brunskill. Staley should retire.
