We need to get him signed long term.
Still need either a backup center or a starting guard next year IMO.

He tried to pick JG's fumble up instead of falling on it.
He's a real keeper.

He didn't have room to fall on it. He was standing upright amidst a bunch of guys and the ball landed at his feet. There wasn't room to fall on it.
Learning lesson?
Maybe, but he played a good game. He had good movement despite the mud.
He is a keeper.

Mike McGlinchey might've delivered his best game as a 49er in Baltimore. Completely clean sheet (0 pressures allowed) at RT along with great run blocking (88.4 PFF grade).

On the other side, Dan Brunskill allowed only one pressure at LT.

That strip fumble on Jimmy G was Mcglinchys guy.

That's pass protection. Our biggest team weakness by far.
PS: I so badly want a G like this.
Yanda is a bad, bad man. Took out DJ Jones & Arik Armstead in one move. Very few are as good as he is https://t.co/UwQsMA0bis

Whose job should he rightfully take?
Daniel Brunskill has been incredibly effective as a pass blocker this season.

His pass-blocking efficiency is tied for 4th among tackles with at 150 pass blocking snaps at 98.2 pic.twitter.com/G6RAUbF17j

Kyle doesn't care about pass protectors as much as run blockers. But I hear you!
Every time Kyle praises an OL it's almost always about run blocking. See McGlinchey recently.

The lines are who get you to the playoffs and our Oline needs to be better or Kyle needs to open this s**t up and throw down the field. Go 5 wide, 6 wide. Run reverses and rollouts and bootlegs. Where is the creativity??? Jimmy's knee still an issue???He needs out of the pocket more. Not going to beat NO without some serious creativity
The 49ers are 10-2. I think they are doing just fine.
