Bummer. I was really looking forward to seeing Skule again. LOL
Is there anyone on this O-line other than Williams who can't be replaced? This thing needs a total rebuild.

Nah. Every team struggles with pass protection. LOL
There is no be all end all stat for pass protection. We're not privy to their assignments, so we can't always place blame on a particular lineman. The QB can certainly make an OL look better or worse, same with play calling.

But all too often I see plays getting blown up because poor (piss poor) pass protection. I see our QBs rushing throws because of pressure. I see our QBs rushing throws even when the protection is there because they simply do not trust our line. Shanny won't open up the offense because he doesn't trust the line.

This unit does not pass the eye test. Our HC and QBs have little or no trust in it. Our line is atrocious at pass protection, simple as that. I don't care if other teams struggle with this too, I only care that this line limits our offense and has cost us games.

100%. And 4 of the 5 OL are our regular starters too: Williams, Tomlinson, Brunskill and McGlinchey and it's week 12; can't use the BS "continuity" and "no offseason" excuse anymore.

No excuses.

This pass protection unit (OL skill set, TE's, Arby's, QB/C protections, communications, QB processing, etc.) turns every QB into Blaine Gabbert esp. when they can't run block either.

It's funny because it's true.

It's not even about being mobile (helps for sure) it's being able to call the correct protections, make the correct reads, process everything quickly consistently. Brady & Manning got a lot of lineman paid.

So much LOL in this one.

So in the same system and QB, how'd they do in hits last year?

I don't know you're the QB hit wizard lol.

Man if only we had that AZ OL...they're clearly the best OL in football. Nick Mullens would be totally crushing it right now

OL isn't good...That said I've also seen poor protection calls and Mullens (or whomever is the QB) being wayyyy too slow to process the reads & throw the damn ball. I've seen QBs run right into pressure inside the pocket instead of moving/sliding away from it.

OL must improve and without question the QB play must improve.

Both can be true.

OL needs lots of improvement

Odd concept, I know.

100% agree with this.
Here's the good side of the OL. I won't show you Dwelley in pass protection.

God damn, nice job, Dwelley. He blasted that motherf**ker.
We knew they couldn't pass protect. But run block?

SAWFT! Plain and simple.

Resign T Williams. That's it. Fire the rest of them. We need some nastiness and attitude on the offensive line. Tired of these nice guys.
