But all too often I see plays getting blown up because poor (piss poor) pass protection. I see our QBs rushing throws because of pressure. I see our QBs rushing throws even when the protection is there because they simply do not trust our line. Shanny won't open up the offense because he doesn't trust the line.
This unit does not pass the eye test. Our HC and QBs have little or no trust in it. Our line is atrocious at pass protection, simple as that. I don't care if other teams struggle with this too, I only care that this line limits our offense and has cost us games.
The 49ers offensive line is just a joke. I owe Jimmy Garoppolo an apology.

It's not even about being mobile (helps for sure) it's being able to call the correct protections, make the correct reads, process everything quickly consistently. Brady & Manning got a lot of lineman paid.
So much LOL in this one.
So in the same system and QB, how'd they do in hits last year?

Originally posted by NYniner85:OL isn't good...That said I've also seen poor protection calls and Mullens (or whomever is the QB) being wayyyy too slow to process the reads & throw the damn ball. I've seen QBs run right into pressure inside the pocket instead of moving/sliding away from it.
OL must improve and without question the QB play must improve.
Both can be true.
.@49ers #RossDwelley with a full speed seal block to the chest plate of #AD99. Best block I saw all day. It takes all 53; down to the final play. #Baldysbreakdowns pic.twitter.com/5E5H7ocUVv

Resign T Williams. That's it. Fire the rest of them. We need some nastiness and attitude on the offensive line. Tired of these nice guys.
