Because even you know its context. Kind of like how you knew we ran the most last year and the hits went down. What an odd correlation, huh? Does that mean they were a better PP unit? Of course not. They just weren't utilized as much. But when they were used, it wasn't pretty. #4QSuperbowl

Sure it does. But my question was do you have proof that TB giving up QB hits correlates to them losing?

The only time Tom Brady loses in the NFL over his career is when he's under regular and constant duress. It was just a safe assumption. There could be a correlation on the QB pressures and hits but you'd have to look at each game loss and compare to each win. Maybe?

Ah ok gotcha. You said as though it was a fact so Thought maybe there were some #s you had that showed this.

I get all of that...for me throwing our TT and QB hits as some super meaningful stat to show how good or bad a OL is imo is kinda meh.

Totally agreed. It was never meant to be the end all, be all. Just a single objective metric. Context and evaluations in discussion should always be had around them.

Same with FO, PFF, Twitter content, etc.

Okay I'm gonna remember that for next time I bring up PFF, FO, Twitter content and you don't like it

All good. The tough thing on some of those metrics is the subjectivity within their own operational definitions vs. more concrete things like QB hits, pressures, sacks, false starts, penalties, tackles, etc.

I especially love when he only shows video evidence and doesn't talk.

Otherwise, I wouldn't post it. Haha
