Run blocking has to show up Sunday.

I would've taken McGovern over Hurd in 2019. It's about the individual player not the position.

Kinlaw over Ruiz was the right call however. Thought so then, think so now.

Humphrey would be a terrible first round choice. Josh Myers in the 2nd? That's a different story.

Humphrey hasn't even been all that great this yr.

I'll take any of these guys later...

It's not an o-line discussion without hyperbole.

Elite pass blocking or sieve.
1st round pick or 6th/7th or UDFA.
Only super high priced FA or cast-offs/journeymen

You mean Wirfs?

Most definitely. I'm just as curious about the offensive game plan as I am as to how Saleh will call his.

No question. How's Dallas with Aldon?

Didn't take Kinlaw over Wirfs though. Valued the trade up for Aiyuk and Kinlaw over Wirfs.

I see your angle. I thought you were comparing like talent at that spot. Ruiz wouldn't fit in that comp otherwise.

Nope he hasn't. Which is why locking in on a position regardless of the players involved is a poor plan.

It's a strong IOL group in the mid rounds. Something that hasn't been true recently.
Build an OL and get skill positions good enough to go 8-0 without a HOFer Drew Brees.

Wirfs value long term with the 9ers in hindsight would've been McGlincheys replacement.

It's never just a talent to talent comparison when trades get involved. It's maximizing value.

not great, Aldon basically had one good game vs Seattle this yr.

Agreed, there's some good depth and no real studs early...having a lot of mid rd picks is gonna be a good things this yr.

IMO SF get's a 5th rd comp for Sanders and Saleh more than likely gone net them a 3rd in 2021 (and 2022)

So a 3rd,4th and 3 5ths. Should be able to beef up the line with that.
