Have to take a Center high in this draft.

Right? people act like we're moving on from Joe Montana or something lol. Jimmy wasn't some elite QB that was the sole reason we went to the Super Bowl. That 2019 roster was stacked.

I honestly see this team as the 2003 Steelers. A 6-10 team I think that drafted Big Ben and went 15-1 in year 1 and won a Super Bowl the next. Totally set up for a QB to win.

Yeah, just put some lipstick on it.
Your standards literally went from believing this was a Championship OL or at least good enough to win one to: "it's also not AS horrible as fans think" in about 4 months.
Highlarious.

The Steelers always had stellar OL, DL, defense and ST and relied heavily on the running game. If we can replicate that formula and drop a rookie QB into that and have Kyle scheme his ass off and ask the rookie QB to play ultra smart, there's a chance that he could grow into a really good QB and expand the offense like Big Ben and Russell Wilson over the years.

Highlarious.
It was a championship OL last yr lol...last I saw they went to the SB derp.
Quit trying so hard to makeup s**t. We understand NC, you hate everything about the OL and drafting IOL with a top 10 pick will fix everything lol.
Still have yet to hear a single thing about how you "fix" your horrible OL lol.
You're good at complaining, but I haven't heard a single draft prospect who fits our scheme from you.

What the f**k do you think last yr was for SF lol? Great defense, top running game, good unit blocking. No one was asking Jimmy to be Joe Montana out there.
You're b***hing about OL yet seem to not realize that they WON'T have money to upgrade this OL that you want fixed so bad

Agree
Unless we get a surprise FA who'll set the position.
I'm much more inclined to draft one.

💥 Washington's dominating defensive line
📉 Is the 49ers offensive line… bad?

Nope. I'm throwing some cash at TW and a vet center. Move Jimmy and his contract to pay for the OL,/FAs, get a rookie QB or trade for Stafford...then use the rest of the picks on EDGE/DBs/OL depth.

Sure, as long as they didn't have to pass to win. LOL. Derp. Proven again this year too no matter the 3 QB's used. It just is what many of us always told you it was...a poor pass protection unit that ensures each QB develops Battered QB Syndrome. And one that cost us #6.
I'm not good at complaining. Just in recognizing the clear weaknesses on the team and calling it out when it isn't fixed.
Coming into the season I said pass protection, edge rush and pass defense were STILL the top team needs outside of health, of course.
That'll be no different next year either even if you decide to throw QB in that equation too. Which I understand too.
Eggggsactly.

One of the dumbest stats known to man lol.
Pretty wild what a better QB can do with this stat if you watched Philly vs the #1 D in the Saints.
