I hope that's not the case here.

TW was a no-brainer retaining move. And well done!

We still need to ADD talent to a unit that got destroyed again last year in PP.

The good news is Mack only gave up 1 sack last year. Tomlinson is still one of the worst G's in the league in PP despite playing next to 2 HOF T's.

If they can upgrade the RG spot significantly, you can expect MM to play much better in a contract year.

Williams - Tomlinson - Mack - Slater - McGlinchey

Almost there!

I'm thinking the OLine youth will be drafted later (due to the two free agent OLinemen they just got). In other words, there is less of a need to get a polished rookie, because of the two starters -- and they can afford now, to wait on a young raw rookie - maybe in the 3rd to 5th rounds - to sit and learn and develop. Having said that, if they go for Slater at #12, I'd be all for it. Jimmy's health demands it.

They be going atomic mad! Webzone might not survive.

Right, forgot about that. Still not wrong what I said, they don't have any of THEIR OL starters from week 1.

I still find it funny, though, that people said for months that a more mobile qb like Mahomes could overcome our bad OL, then the SB happened and KC is going after the 2 best OL available. Lol. Like, if having an all-world scramble qb means you don't have to invest as heavily in OL, why is KC trying to get thr best OL they can?

Don't think they're going oline in the 1st, definitely see defense or trade up for a qb

Cmon now you know they won't have that 12th if they got Watson lol
Yea we need to sign a guard and swing tackle for depth.
Need McGlinchy to incorporate 5 Guys into his breakfast lunch and dinner plan and we will be golden
Feels Great Baby !

no we don't....they have like 3 swing tackles.

They will more than likely draft another IOL
Start giving MM more cheeseburgers now!

That extra $10,000
Pre draft OL: Williams - Tomlinson - Mack - Brunskill - Mike
Now draft Slater with #12, draft a versatile G-C in round 2. Trade away Mike for a day 2 pick.
Post draft OL: Williams - Tomlinson - Mack - Rookie (Humphries, Green, etc) - Slater

Slater begins his career as a RT and moves to LT when Trent leaves. He will want that LT market money.
Mack does his role as a bridge center grooming a rookie for a year or 2.
Mike gets traded now that he has some value. Perhaps to the Raiders who dumped their entire OL, they wanted Mike in 2018 and they have a pretty good RB. You save 10m from his 5th year option and it's very unlikely he gets extended even if he plays well with this new Williams deal.
Brunskill competes for an starting job with the rookie second rounder. He is a valuable asset for depth since he can start any position in the OL

They could still try to snag a FA guard if there's anyone out there.
