Welcome to bizzaroworld!

When pride/ego > objectivity/honesty

Nope home base is Lance.

The rest or the trash you wore makes no sense.

NC talking about pride/ego and being objective in the OL thread 😂 😂 😂 😂 coming from the guy who hasn't given an inch on this topic for years. That's cute.

Keep pretending when you write about someone in here makes all of a sudden makes it true.
not sure why you keep going NY.. NC and co won't admit it.. you seen all the spin.

don't worry about them being incorrect.. it's camp day.. football is here !

As much hell as I am giving the o-line it made sense to let LT go. I am upset about Center.

It definitely was understandable. With Trey starting it just created more chaos on that business decision. But Trey's first year starting shouldn't be the key factor in keeping a guy.
I'll I did was post a comment from NC's OL guru guy saying Laken is a top 5 LG in the league and he's since then has a hissy fit and is all butthurt about it.

you were wrong about him and the guy you use for everything literally told you! Yet here you are talking about pride/ego being objective. f**k man cut it out. You were wrong, just admit it and we can move on. If you refuse to, then you're actively showing you can't be objective and everything you post in here has some sort of bias connected to it….it's as simple as that.

Man, if calling out player weaknesses and proven failed team building strategy and philosophy with a couple units (OL + DB) is "s**tting on everything," I can't wait to see NY s**t on Trey and the FO in year 1.

LOL You got me before the added edits! Dammit! LOL but yep.

Shout out to YAC's crack research too esp. season vs. post season info. That's gold, good or bad. PFF has its flaws (esp. with OL) so take it with a grain of salt but it helps paint a picture in conjuction with other sources as well.

It's nice getting back to some objectivity and civil discussions again in here.

YAC's last paragraph was the lightbulb for me. I forgot about that.

Here's a nugget...

Everything is up in the air at center right now. So far Jake Brendel has taken snaps with the starters at OTAs, but he is far from proven. In four years in the NFL, Brendel has only taken 166 snaps at center. Daniel Brunskill has had more time than Brendel at center, but he struggled in pass protection. In his only season with extensive time at center in 2020, Daniel Brunskill allowed 31 pressures. For context, Alex Mack allowed just 12 pressures last year. In 2019 when both Weston Richburg and Ben Garland played center, they allowed just 18 pressures combined.

https://www.ninersnation.com/2022/6/7/23158403/49ers-news-why-you-might-not-have-to-worry-about-the-offensive-line

Obviously I disagree with Javier (who I follow on Twitter and Youtube) but I can tell you all there's no consensus on where the OL is right now and everyone is super dialed into camp to find out. Also take note 2020 was also a injury season for Jimmy. In my mind Brunskills pressures allowed and QB injury (all QBs that season) events are 100% correlated. The only reason why Brunski was at center because Garland was injured also.

We even had Grassi start a few games too IIRC.

LMAO. I literally had zero issue about it. Zero. #Delusional

So was it good enough?

He sure did! But the FO took that calculated gamble. Let's hope it pays off with Brendel now.

Dammit! The edits. You're so fast!

I don't f**k around quoting others. Now, my OWN edits may evolve over the next several days. Haha.

Ugh so ready to talk about football now. Everything will show itself and where's there's need (and a upgrade available) I would hope they make a move.

Clearly you do because you won't admit you were wrong…in fact you said you've " evaluated" him perfectly which is a joke.

I told you they could have been better in the playoffs (and stated multiple times MaYBE rEAD) . So could have a lot of positions. Your loaded question lacks substance and always has (which I've pointed out).

thorn says he's top 5 as a LG. So either he's wrong or you are….which is it???

LMAO. Yes, we were SO wrong on this topic.

As to this year? It's a whole new ballgame. Who knows. New coaches, new scheme, new personnel + @ RB & QB.

Even if you say, the best predictor of the future is the past, the only thing you could reference that too is strategy, eye for talent and TW.

His tier 4 to 3 was my exact position on his talent and strengths and weaknesses. LOL. I had zero issues with it.

There's nothing loaded about it. It's the EXACT same question every FO asks itself before working out an off season plan.

They saw it wasn't good enough at CB and instantly attacked that. Same with RB. Same with ER.

The real issue is despite GM and I trying to warn you last off season they didn't do enough, and it proving true again, you'll never admit that. That's ego. That's pride. That's NY stubborn.

So when you admit we were right about the initial concerns, then we can have an objective conservation.

Like GM and I have done for you on Jimmy Garoppolo.
