I heard he's really not getting many snaps cus they are trying to gauge the Brendel/Brunskill competition. Like if Brendel is 2nd string C, a lot of times he'll stay on with the 3rd team for a few reps too

Of note, when McGlinchey came back, Moore stayed out at T and for the 4th day in a row, Burford took every first team snap at RG...who's a RT (w/ G experience). Too bad they didn't draft Wirfs. Might have won a Superbowl. Hehe.

Anyhow, this is pretty significant given Moore had a full redshirt year and was gearing up to start at RG...now he's out at T.

We'll find out Moore on Monday!

Nice Note. Although I think they are taking McGlinchey slowly to become acclimated to contact after such a serious injury. Then again, I'm also wondering if he's lost some athleticism because of his injury. Hard not to imagine losing some pop after a quad tear.

I do like the competition at Right Tackle though - that really will make both players better.

I think they wanted Moore/Burferd to compete for that RG spot but with Trent and MM missing they were super thin at OT. I read Skule has been down right terrible. I think Moore is playing OT kinda out of necessity.

Yah don't think I'm the one in need of doing research.

APY is very similar. You're trying too hard. Tomlinson is an average G at best and just got top 3 $ of all LG's. Clark is top 7 of ALL interior DL. IDL will probably always have the contract edge over IOL but they'll also be the first to get cut because of those big contracts.

Either way, this has nothing to do with anything really unless you're trying to justify taking a NT at 14 esp. in our W9 where it's just a 2 down position at best. If he was a pass rushing 3T, OK...but that's not reality.

It was a reach drafting Kinlaw . He was Injured and flag at the combine. They reached because he was a DT the had potential and they like that. They convicted themselves his knee was not that bad because he was a DT and they liked him. It was probably a reach draft Tyrion Davis-Price. He could have probably drafted later but they wanted a RB . That is my point they reach for WR and RB and DT.

RB they tend to reach for I will agree there. Not fond of Kyle rb drafting at all.

Kinlaw wasn't a reach though. He tore up his knee in Dallas, I don't believe it had anything to do with the flagged issues from combine. Separate injury. Let's see what he can do now that he's healthy.

If we really want to get into what we should've done the right picks were Justin Jefferson and Travon Diggs.

Outside of the Joe Williams pick, I haven't really seen ShanaLynch reach. Brieda and Mostert were UDFA's and Mitchell a 6th round pick. So they tend to pick late and get undervalued gems. I'm still hoping Trey Sermon bounces back from a rough rookie year. Hope hope.

Pettis, Thomas, Sermon, and Banks (TBD).

Kinlaw, Wishnowsky, Hurd, Sermon, TDP, etc. Haha.

I think so too. We'll see when the pads come on today.

and if they continue to underwhelm.. under perform or just plain suck...... then what do we say........ oh.. well wait till the pre season games when we start playing games........ then oh well wait till the start of the regular season..... then oh... well we need to give it six games so they can "jell"..
It all comes back to the o-line.

CC! Why so *positive?* I think LuckyCharms is right though - Trent and MM kind of put the 2nd stringers in play during non-pad drills.

I think the OLine will be fine. Just like I told you Deebo will be signed. You just have to look at some of their measurables and somebody like Poe - who is undrafted - has measurables in the 90th percentile. The drafted guys Burford and Banks, as well as the other day 3 picks - who essentially are 2nd year+ veterans and I think they are physically talented and just need experience. I think the QB mobility aspect is going to change the Offensive LIne dynamics. If you recall how our DLine destroyed Aaron in the playoffs a couple of years ago because Aaron isn't the most mobile of QB's (agree he's more mobile than JImmy though) and I think Trey's mobility will actually improve the pass protections on the OLine. Jimmy had a lot of shortcomings - injury and lack of mobility being some of the biggest that I think adversely affected the OLine. You just can't blitz or pin your ears back and pass rush Trey, because if he breaks contain, it could go all the way - a la Kaepernick. That limits what a DLine can do from a pass defense standpoint.

Haven't heard many positive reports out of this group. At least nobody has been injured. Lets see what happens when the pads come on. Definitely concerned about Center and both guard spots.

Not expecting to hear too much. Our Dline should be dominant with no Trent out there. Sounds like MM is looking good in 1 on 1's with Bosa so that is some really good news.

think he's been hurt and is a OG at the next level
