But absolutely, you can win them with an elite (even historic) defense + average QB (Wilson at the time, Dilfer, Johnson, Flacco, etc.).

That's a great formula as well.

Rams did it to themselves (retirement, FA losses). Bucs had some big late key injuries. Both QB's will face similar challenges as a result IMHO.

It's almost as if, hitting on prospects and FA's is more important than "prioritizing" or acquiring high volume or spending high draft picks on OL.
