Clearly a mess
can't wait for a certain someone to rant about this all offseason

lol you guys need to stop.

Those fools were just as concerned about the OL as everyone coming into the season. And they know it. Acting like they knew what this OL was is ridiculous. Don't buy their B.S. spin.
Just as concerned as you, no way

i had them coming out most improved and towards the top rankings

LOL. I'll believe that when I see your receipts.

I was definitely as 'concerned' with everybody and for good reason. That's different than predicting doom-gloom although there's nothing wrong with that angle either given what we knew heading into Week 1.

I gave them a fair chance and they've surpassed by early expectations.

I was very clear about not knowing what to expect. Been very happy with their play overall. Still can be better.

That's a far cry from decrying it's a mess before real games even start.

I couldn't agree more.

Right there with you.

LMAO. You'd definitely be in that .0001% that didn't have any concerns about the OL and felt they'd be a top 10 unit.

Hell no...just call it like I see it. I'm actually excited to add to it. Isn't it fun to watch a passing game?

since i have you being honest here. feelings towards Kyle aside, you do see that QB affects Kyle's offense ?

Ha. I couldn't be more pleased with the OL especially in the pass protection department. Even run blocking seems to be getting a bit better as well.

Hmmmm...when kickoff ensues tho and some guys don't quite look so great,...there seems to be a different sentiment shared. Not once or twice, but constantly.

In all fairness, you are concerned about any and all things coaching & management related at all times. The players on the field, not so much, as they seem to be seen as pawns.

That given,...with this talk of receipts that you'd like,...let's just collect them and keep them in one place while we get talk let's get ready for tonight.

"Kyle" got in the RZ?

Did our WR just make a play for the QB???

I agree, hope they can get that going next half. Kyle was 7 for 8 on run calls out of the half last game. Let's see.

So now run call completions by a coach are "a thing?"

This team is stupid and injury prone.

IDK if these sound like a fan that is satisfied with the state of the people running the team.

Of course. All 3 QB's have different skill sets. Jimmy and Lance are on one extreme and Brock seems to be somewhere in the middle. Kyle said it best when he said moving from Jimmy to Brock wasn't very different at all esp. compared from Trey to Jimmy.

Haha. I'll say it now and save you the suspense. We're still not winning a Superbowl.
There is a reason the Eagles are 12-1, and it goes deeper than Jalen Hurts.

Here is a position-by-position comparison in the overall PFF ranking between Philly and the 49ers' OL.
SF--------------------Philly
LT - #1 ------------18 - of 79
RT - 34 ------------- 6 - of 79 (Arrow has been up for McGlinchey the past three games.)
LG - 38 ------------- 5 - of 87 (After a good start, Banks has been sliding down the list in recent games.)
RG - 28 ------------ 27 - of 87 (SF ranking is for Brunskill. Burford is #76.)
C - 20 -------------- 1 - 38 (Brendel has moved up from #26 about week 4.)

Though the play of the OL has been gradually on the upswing all season long, there is still room to improve. It will have to improve if we are to play in February.

Nice breakdown, DJ.
Nice breakdown but inaccurate.

Our run blocking has been top 5 and our pass blocking has been phenomenal during this win streak with the exception of the Mia game.

Madden ratings are more reliable than PPF

There's not 17 LTs better than Jordan Mailata... he's a beast.

PFF grades get real weird with lineman IMO.

All true. Difference is if the Eagles win the SB its likely going to be due to Hurts making plays more than the Eagles O line.

...because the OL gave him the best opportunity to make plays.
