O line wasn't responsible for the NFC championship game injury.

It was not just the RT, it was our 3rd String TE however the RT should have seen it noticing the formation and calling it out. The center makes the line calls but missed it. A good RT should alert to what's happening. Horrible play call as well without Kittle there. So yes it was not just the line however right side of the line was getting smoked all through the playoffs.

We had 2 QB's killed that game d/t PP issues. Line calls, 3rd string TE, beat in the A gap, etc. Build an OL that can actually beat a top DL when it matters most. You win Superbowls much easier that way. So is the rumor.

As you do when you have elite QB play making up for bad protection (see AFC title game)

Then tell me who was supposed to be protecting him? Cause Brock certainly wasn't executing an RPO. He was definitely in the backfield when he was assaulted. And, from what I've always understood about football, the OLine is responsible for the protection of the QB.

Almont every team that wins a Superbowl has a elite O line or at least top 5. If Brady was behind that line he also would still be out as with Purdy. They got it right on the D line which makes alot of the skill players able to be All Pro or Pro bowl having the shorter window to excel. I wish we would do the same with the Oline other than TW.

You think Brock and Johnson s/h done more to avoid their injuries?

They make a difference.

Your favorite o line let Arden Key nearly do the same to Pat.

Bucs O line was worse statistically than the 9ers last year. Brady didn't get injured.

Yes Brady is the unicorn but he probably had best quick release in history, it's one thing Jimmy got from him. He still was always running for his life last year. In the niners game he got killed. As well the Bucs were not a good team and even Brady could not overcome the horrible line play.

Sure. 9ers didn't have horrible o line play though. It's just not accurate.

It wasn't the oline! It was the backup te blocking their best pass rusher!
