Quite. Im not happy to see the Oline continuously being a liability in some way or another.
Ok so my draft crush was tristan wirfs over Javon Kinlaw

This year I was so upset because Blake Freeland BYU OT was my top pick in the third round. He is now running with the 1's in indianapolis and Latu is no where to be found. So so frustrated.

He's running with the 1s cause Braden Smith isn't there.
The O line is really the only spot that concerns me with this team. New faces and relative inexperience all over except Williams. I'm confident that one or any of the QBs are good enough to get the job done provided they can be protected.

I think the right side of the line is gonna force a mid season trade.

Would have been some nice depth. Personally I like a Willis over stone hands Latu.

Sounds like Colton has been holding his own. Banks has been out for a little, correct?

Banks has been out. McKivitz has held his own against Drake, Taco and Ferrel sorry I'm not gonna be blown away by that resume. I'd love for McKivitz to be the future at RT I'm just very skeptical

I wanted OL depth bad in this draft. A center and OT should have been taken imo. I wasn't a big Freeland guy cause he reminded me of McGlinchey (who out here in Denver is known as McFlinchey)
We asked Jesse about Trent Williams and he also answered a little more about the OL as a whole.

I have been discussing for a while. This is the main area which could cost us number 6. I know Kyle thinks he can scheme around a week right side of the line but after watching the playoffs last year he could not.

Both Dallas and Philly had their way with us since they had great D lines. Our D carried us until the end of the second QTR of the NFCC game.

This maybe our chance and if we cannot work a trade or someone cutting a tackle does not happen, we could be derailed out of number 6.

I concur. Playing armchair GM I think letting McGliincey walk was the right thing. Will pick up a 3rd round comp pick and not have that huge contract for a RT who cannot pass block. That being said I do wish they spent draft capitol at Tackle. That is only my opinion. As we know any tackle in FA will go for a premium so one has to draft well.
Interesting point here made by Whitworth starting at 220. He projects the niners as possible nfc Champs IF Purdybstays healthy and talks about the injury bug hitting the niners qbs. He then picks the Chiefs, citing Reid prioritizing the guys in front of mahommes.

Moore seemed to be doing decent before the injury. Watson was doing better than Pryor at least. If we don't add anybody, seems like those are our top 2 guys at swing OT.

Totally agree, MM was thrown by Parsons like a Rag Doll and failed in pass pro. He did well with the running game in the playoffs. I believe we actually are weaker on the O line. We shall see and hope I'm wrong. Pittsburgh will be our first test. Positive note I think our D will even be better if they sign Bosa already.
