As well NC is right you need both. Being back into the O line thread...We will win it all of we have a top 5 line this year. If we don't we won't. I feel better about McKivitz after preseason however we shall see how our O line performs against Pittsburgh and their D line with TJ Watt.

I'm a Niners fan so hope we do well.

Brock still would have to play tier 1 as well. And yes, there's always the outside chance that when this OL is reevaluated at mid season, we could have moved up into tier 1 (like they have our DLB ranked now).

OK got it....Burrow is Elite. I don't know Cincy's O line ranking though in 2021.

Yes he would and looked good in preseason. It's the unknown on our O line, that's how far we can go. If they move up to a top 5 O line we will probably get number 6 baring injuries. Yes Rock it Brock....

Sad indeed. Has nothing to do with not touching the chiefs. This is about principle because you are pulling your typical NC s**t and playing games and muddying waters with various caveats because everything is always shifting with you. You're the big shot who tells everyone that the top OL coupled with top QB wins it all and is fail proof. I even offered you 2 to 1 odds. I never said it was full proof. LOL. I said it gives you the best odds in this pass happy NFL. And so far it's been proven. That doesn't mean it's 100% guarantee. If this formula was a stock, you'd buy. The flashy stock you guys are pushing never reached its hype. That's all.

But this is a year where we both could test it again because of the perfect circumstances.

Oh well. Either way, we'll see how it ends up.

I'll keep you posted on the tiers at mid season and for the playoffs. It'll be easy to see how the QB's are doing and what tier they're playing at.

Yeah the line was really bad back during their Super Bowl run. It probably was the reason they didn't win. They went out and signed the top available FA at OT the last two years and are hoping it meshes this year.
Burrow is so good though. It's Mahomes then Burrow then everybody else for me. He is so lethal from the pocket.

Also, Burrow mitigates bad line play like Manning and Brady did….pre snap checks and timing throws, etc.

It was introduced because PHI was #1 last year and didn't win
