Every SB has been won by a tier 1 o line then?

Is it possible Goff gets hot at the right time and plays like a tier 1 QB through the playoffs? Sure...we've seen it before. But it's unlikely too.

how many teams are in these tiers ?
2. Sometimes 3. For instance, only 2 are in the OL tier 1 this year. 3 on defense (including SF). Sometimes just 1.
Last year it was 2 OL: Eagles and Chiefs in tier 1. Chiefs got no lower than 3.
Where are these tiers coming from?
This year to 'start.'
Tier 1:
Eagles and Lions for OL
Cowboys, 9ers and Steelers for DL

All will be reevaluated mid season and again going into the playoffs.
do you think it's wise to post pay sites as your source of truth when you don't read the entire articles because you, admittedly, don't ever pay for pay sites?
Do you need to pay to see the free tier 1's listed every time? LOL
Also, follow Brandon. He usually reveals a ton.
The 'pay' portion is used for specific weekly matchups, FF and betting. YAC would benefit from it as he uses a similar formula.
It's hard to argue against their expertise and history.
Did you read their assessment of why they have them in tier 1?
Would that be enough to elevate Goff to playing at a tier 1 level as well? Highly unlikely but he did have a nice second half of the season IIRC.

Might just be me, but if this is my source of truth and the bases of my whole argument, I'm going to make sure I read up on everything within it. Everything I've seen with Thorn and the tier rankings , pre, mid, end is all pay
I've listed them all here. They all contain the tier 1's and their rationale why.
Like with the DL, I'm waiting for the day SF enters tier 1 for the OL.
But is that ever going to happen under ShanaLynch?
Unlikely. So we pivot to your theory...QB making up for a tier 2+ OL. Let's hope you're right!

Except that you don't. As long as the o line is in the tier 3 range you can win if the qb play is elite. The reverse is not true unless that tier 3 guy plays like an elite guy for 4 games ala Nick Foles.

So now it's Tier 1 OL instead of #1 OL, but you won't stand by your theory with Det. another weak move by NC
When you say you need both, what is that exactly? Don't dance around just say it.

But You still do not read all of what you try to cite, that's all I'm saying. Not a great way to debate something or lend credence to your angle imo. And I don't have a theory, as I take many things into account. . I just don't happen to agree with yours. Mainly because the criteria is ever changing and because the focus for every teams success is always OL.

Goff is good and has good heart from a good family. He will get better after McKay gave the Tray Lance experience.
NC is right.. you need both a top tier O line and a good QB to help win it all. We forgot though that a top tier D is needed as well.

A complete team usually wins Superbowl. Most average fans ignore how critical a good OLine is, just to get a good average generic offense.
Best pass protectors man the OT positions, and the worst OLineman usually is (but not always) is the right guard.

I read tier 1. That's all that's mattered. That'll probably be the case this year too.
You said all the same stuff last year at this time.

If ya did that you might read a comment where he says a tier 1 o line is not required to win a SB.
