You two are 2 for 2 on proving my point today.

I guess Brandon Thorn was right again.

Im sorry are you saying he didn't? His OL got absolutely demolished, and he made the throw time & time again. He can't also catch the ball for his WRs, that's a different question.

The chiefs OL got beat like a drum inside & outside. Their elite line. But just as in years past, for all that pressure, guess how many sacks the lions had? I'll give you a hint, it was the same amount the eagles had when they were on his ass in the sb
lol perfect

Like i said before, NC sees a win, ignores what happened in the game and thinks it's great OL play.

he sees a loss.. and it's, well it's because they are not the number 1 OL. ridiculous philosophy

The throw to toney on the last drive would have been analyzed to hell if it were Jimmy.

It was behind toney by 5 degrees and the point of the ball was trending to the left.

i think we all would give jimmy a pass if he had won two ships

It sounds like there are some concerns about McKivitz vs. Watt...for those who can see beyond the QB.

It sounds like he's going to get lots of help which usually means eliminating a receiver for Brock but that's probably a fair trade off.

Good luck Colton! We're going to need you to play at a high level.

"I don't think we're going to leave him one-on-one every single play. Not going to give you all of our game plan, but we're going to help him out as much as we can." ~ Kittle

"Colton obviously I'm sure is going to feel it, I'm going to feel it for him if he's not feeling it." ~ Foerster

"Like any other guy would be, you get a lump in your throat," Foerster said of McKivitz. "You know it's going to be a challenge, it's going to be a full day of work."

TJ Waat has a legit argument for DPOY unless you're a top 3 OL of course you re scared and will be a bit outmatched

If kittle plays he will be in there to help lol

No doubt about that one. A lot. Unless they trust the other TE's again in PP.

But maybe that's not a bad thing if Kittle is injured like always.

Agree about the TE's. I think a TE on McKivitz side (not necessarily Kittle) it could be Juice, it could be Willis, Dwelly, or Woerner chip blocking Watt, doesn't necessarily take that potential receiver out of the passing game for the whole play. Just delay it a bit. Well worth it if CMC, Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle or Jennings can get free in a pinch for Brock.

Personally, the way McKivitz dealt with his previous start against Aaron Donald, and having Bosa in practice, - I think he'll be fine. Foerster's a good coach and has a good eye for talent. I hope we can keep him as an assistant coach for a long time. I don't think McKivitz will need a lot of help.

Personally, I'd just run the Counter Trey at Watt and have Big Trent *hall of fame* Williams road grade Watt, and not wishing injuries on anybody, but have Watt take a breather or 20 after being hit by Trent.

Whatever happens, happens. I'm excited either way to see how he and the whole OL plays. How Kyle game plans for the pressure. How he'll adjust. How Brock does, the outlets, our YAC boys, etc. Great first test.

If they kick ass, we might be on the path to #6.

I think Bosa will be matched up with Okefor (Pittsburgs right tackle) while TJ Watt will be matched up against McKivitz. Both tackles will be helped, I'm sure with TE's chip blocks. I think for both teams, the key is the run game. I think we have a better run game than Pittsburg's (Najee vs CMC) and that should slow down TJ Watt. I really can't wait to see TJ on his butt when the counter trey is called and Trent road grades him. Hope! Hope!

Benjamin Solak did a good write up on the difference between Goff missing a td to Amon St Brown and Stafford hitting the same play for the win in playoffs. That's the difference and why those guys get more heat for mistakes, because they misread the other opportunities.

Hoov, you guys need to get your stories straight. First Brown was just an average T according to French so now that he's replaced by another average T, that's just too much for PM to beat the lowly Lions at home with hometown refs letting their OL cheat time and time again. The spin is real.

I wonder if Chief's Kingdom knows how many fanboys they have in the WZ!

Yeah, this is going to be a fun game with lots of great matchups. I can't wait.

No one here (to my knowledge) has vouched for the Chiefs OL this year.

Weird how you refused to commit to anything concerning Detroit doing anything this year -- because you were asked this like 10-20 times the past couple weeks, lol -- until the results finally came in after game 1 vs. KC.

How does someone convince themselves that that they're much more versed on a topic than others by -- get this part cleared up for me -- waiting for the same results to happen that everyone else waits for b4 taking stance?

Hopefully for you 5, PM's non-tier 1 OL settles down and delivers you another Superbowl.

Always. Pretty good bet that when it's always everyone else who's wrong, or who has reading comprehension issues etc etc, the person saying those things is the common denominator
