I said it in another thread, this team will go as far as the o-line and Purdy allow. So far so good. (Especially with Purdy)

Truthfully this can be said about every single team. It doesn't matter how great your QB is if the line sucks. It doesn't really matter how great your o-line is if the QB sucks either. Now if you have both above average or more, you're certainly very competitive and usually in the playoff hunt.

Secondary will cost us #6

All of the above including key injuries are likely to cost us in the end. But eff that. This is our year.

Yes secondary could cost us number 6 and so could the right side of our line. I like our secondary better than the right side on the line.

Pick your poison. We just have to hope our collective strengths are better than the others and we stay healthy and don't have a total team meltdown in the 4Q like usual...when it matters.

I think the Niners will be in the NFCCG against Dallas and their pass rush vs our O line scares me. If they make it to the Super Bowl I think it'll be vs Miami and their receivers vs our secondary scares me. I suppose the difference is that I have more faith in Kyle to scheme around bad O line play than I have in Wilkes to scheme around bad secondary play.

Brutal concept to grasp. LOL

Those 2 could be poor matchups for the reasons you stated. Agreed.

So it's sacks not pressures now.

Keep moving those goal posts

Yac gave you the data and you ignore it because one random dude said something

LMAO. You think YAC referencing PFF isn't a random dude? Patrick Mahomes? An entire website devoted to one topic is just random now?

Just move yourself over to Chiefs Kingdom already. Your Patrick Mahomes-envy is real.

What are you going to say when they don't win this year and you'll end up being 0-4 on this topic WITH your favorite QB as the leading example?

I believe PM's ankle disagrees

The bionic man. Only he and Wilson can escape a broken ankle there and not miss a game.

Isn't Wilkes specialty secondary? I think they will gel fine. I just want a healthy year for once. If we are fortunate enough to get that deep into the playoffs, its always tough.

For the 49ers, I think Burford definitely has the talent to dominate and become elite. He has some physical nastiness to him. It's the mental errors that kind of set Burford back. As for McKivitz, he still has to show me he can run dominate and pass dominate on occasion. He's decent at both - from what I've seen in the Steelers and the Rams games. Nothing to write home about yet. Not saying he's bad, just saying that he's not wow'ed my physically or athletically like the left side of the line including Brendel. I haven't seen him pancake a DT or a DE yet in the run game, nor have I seen him shut down elite edge rushers the way a good to great right tackle does. Still, I"m just nitpicking, he's a young guy making his first NFL start -- I hope Foerster's gamble is right and that McKivitz develops during the season the way Brendel and Banks did, last year.

An entire website that shows their data vs reading the free part of the website. Yah I know where I'd lean.

I wouldn't count out our offensive line yet. McKivitz improvement from the Steelers game to the Rams game was good. I didn't hear Burford's name too much against the Rams in pass protection penalties (although I could be mis-remembering) I Know he had several penalties, I think, in the Steelers game.
haha...talk about attention-starved

That shows you don't follow it. Maybe if they hosted a Patrick Mahomes-only site, you'd see it. Haha. j/k
