9ers O line was still far better than the Chiefs O line in that SB.

Why? I don't always have a positive take on the O line. 😅

they sent cover 0 and cover 1 blitzes every play so we have to take pressure wth a bit of a grain of salt. The OL did a great job at slowing down rushers and gave purdy enough of a pocket to manipulate in order to get the open guy

Look at that sexy blocking from our Oline... Multiple orgasm

hahaha I know. You are good people and conscientious even if we disagree.

Lets hope the right side improves. IMO they improved throughout the game and Giants literally threw everything at them almost every single play. It was crazy, but also a good lesson if anything. I know some plays you will simply get beat as that's football, but I saw a some plays where I could tell the RT missed his assignment or was too slow to get this guy etc.

I hope our d line goes at them like this every single practice.

Yes. I am aware of that. I have proof of it in my post on the previous page.

Overall I will say they played exceptionally well under the circumstances. If the MIA, TB & PIT games haven't deterred defenses from blitzing Brock, this game certainly should.

Well I don't know about that….I feel like there were a handful of balls that could have been picked off early. SF got lucky that none of those became TOs.

He settled down and played much better as the game went on.

Overall I think that is something that Brock can become very good at, beating the blitz. All about pre-snap awareness and post-snap anticipation/quick processing…things he's shown he's damn good at with less than a years worth of passing attempts.

The O line got blitzed 85% of their pass snaps. That doesn't just affect the QB, it also affects the O line. Inspite of the adversity, Brock showed us what it means to elevate a tier 2-3 O line.

Brock is 73/119 for 846 yards 6 TD's, 1 INT with a 96.6 passer rating against the blitz in his career.
I think the O line held up pretty well considering how many blitzes they faced.

And we all watched the game last night. It was shaky in the beginning. No reason to pretend it wasn't.

Stats don't tell the whole story or we'd all be raving about Lance's amazing QB rating vs LV.

He improved as the game went on and like I said, I think it's something he will be elite at beating the more he plays.

Dude, we get it. You want every reason you can find to say "I told you so" about Brock Purdy. Did he have a couple of contested passes early on in the game? Sure. But they weren't all on him. Deny the facts all you want but the results are the results when it comes to how good he has been overall vs the blitz. Now give me 5 active QB's who have been better against the blitz in their first 8 career starts. Otherwise, backdown for once in your life.
Dude was like 20/31 for 254 yards 2 TD's and 0 INT's last night vs the blitz.
