This homer was just posted yesterday too. LOL.

PFF completely disagrees with him. So which is it?

IMHO, It's a good/solid (Tier 3) OL. It's NOT a dominant OL. And it's not the terrible individual grades and peer ranks by PFF either.

But we'll truly know more about it's ceiling after 5 more games.

Do YOU think this is a dominant OL?
How many tiers are there? If the 49ers are tier 3 but there are 10 tiers, that's pretty good imo. If there's only 4 tiers, then that's tierrible and I would be crying tiers from my eyes.

He cannot even define a tier let alone tell you how many there are. 🤣

I mean you have to know how many tiers there are. That's like saying "I give this restaurant 5 stars". Awesome.
Out of 10 stars.
That's not awesome.
If I were setting tiers, I would define them as 1-5, 6-10, 11-16, 17-24 and 25-32 or something like that. So 5 tiers total.

That is what we call rankings.

No, that would require paying for the site vs just reading the freebie portion at the beginning that only touches on 2 teams.

I think the two OLinemen (Trent Williams and Banks) are pretty good - maybe top of the line stuff. Brendel, is good, above average can be great on occasion. But Burford and McKivitz are a work in progress. Arrow up for the two (Brendel and McKivitz) guys though. Ideally, I'd like two first round talents manning the offensive tackle positions. Trent checks that, but McKivitz doesn't - yet. The interior line, I'd like that Center to be a bit more powerful than he is now. Brendel is more quick and agile vs being a Trent-Like road grader. I'd love for our Center to be able to physically dominate as well as be quick and agile like Brendel. I like Banks at guard. He's powerful, big, as well as an agile offensive lineman. Banks is a round 2 pick for a reason.

Instead of Teirs - I'd love for our OLine to break down in the following manner.

Left Tackle - 1st round Talent - Preferably - in the first 15 picks of the first round.
Left Guard - 2nd round Talent - Early as possible in the 2nd round. First 10 picks, preferably in the 2nd round.
Center - 3rd Round Talent - early in the 3rd round
Right Guard - 3rd round Talent - late in the 3rd round.
Right Tackle - 1st round talent - Latter half of the first round (preferably - the last 10 picks of the first round)

Re: McKivitz. That right tackle position is bolstered by the WR/TE/OW lining up next to him - on occasion. So on outside zones, inside zones, and gap blocking, that right tackle can get edge help from the these guys to help him double team in run blocking, and chip in the pass blocking, he gets additional help from the QB, because since Brock is right handed, the edge rusher will be in Brock's peripheral vision. So, that right tackle, can fall as far down in talent level as late 2nd round, as long as he's a monster in pass blocking.

LMAO. Good one.

Tier 1: Elite (2 teams)
Tier 2: Very Good (2 teams)
Tier 3: Good (12 teams)
Tier 4: Solid
Tier 5: Turd
Tier 6: Giant Douche
I read that we're being blitz more than any other team atm, also giving up the most pressure.

You forgot to mention that these tiers change and the teams change within these tiers

Yah like the Chiefs morphed to tier 5 in playoffs.

Brock is the 3rd highest blitzed QB in the league this season and has faced the 8th highest pressure rate.

Perhaps but Hurts is the #1 highest blitzed QB and has only faced the 17th highest pressure rate.
