They've played above average for sure. Quite well. Let's see how we feel after tomorrow night against a playoff team and top defense.

Oh believe me, I've been reading him for years. And how much is to read in a Tier 1 breakdown "...for context." LOL.

He is certainly not playing great ball right now. But that doesn't mean he didn't play great ball previously. Hell, look at Laken Tomlinson. He's a great talent and should bounce back once fully acclimated.

Lot of the good pressures last year.
Same guy he's been. Just doesn't have Pat and Lamar getting away.

You should at least be consistent in your spin. You don't get top PFF grades in the high 70's and mid 80's because your QB is "mobile."

I'd say climbing the ranks of tier 2.
You think they're elite (tier 1)?
I just want your comment FTR.

Just need power rankings with no breakdown.

Plenry good enough to win a SB.
Secondary again looks like the question.

You are the only one talking about pff grades. No one here ever has.
Yac talks about their stats not their grades.

Proof YOU don't read. BT breaks down every OL. You would have picked that up had you read ANY tier 1 link I gave you. Hypocrite.

The O-line is a problem. Everything to the right of #71 is a problem. We are winning DESPITE the OL. We are winning because of Trent and Kyle's scheming.
Check the rankings:
Banks is having an off-year. He ranks #53 of 73 Guards.
Burford is still the same guy he was last year - #65 of 73.
Brendel is #28 of 33.
McKivitz is Mike McGlinchey with reverse numbers in run and pass blocking.
---------------
YAC's post about the direction of running plays makes it obvious. We are a left-handed running team because we can't do anything else until improvements are made.
Why'd the 49ers release Mike Person? The $2.5m salary-cap break is nice, but it begins and ends with a need for better pass protection.

Person ranked No. 51 of 61 qualifying guards in PFF's pass-blocking efficiency. I wrote about this last month here: https://t.co/behnIHcqlc pic.twitter.com/wEXhz8gWbM
Brandon is one of the best OL evaluators out there, and he's releasing his tiers. Tier 1=elite. Tier 2=very good. Tier 3=good/above average. Tier 4-solid/average 49ers
LT Trent Williams is in Tier 1
Richburg/McGlinchey in Tier 3
Tomlinson/Brunskill in Tier 4
