This ain't Madden. BOTH can be playing at that level during this stretch.

Well the logic we've heard is it's really the OLine that is the difference.

When QBs clearly do well that is the only time where this "both" thing comes up.

O line is the difference. They played very well last night. Of Purdy doesn't have time nothing good happens 90% of the time.

I hope banks is alright.

The QB is the difference.

Fred Warner and Hufanga are the difference.

Nick Bosa is the difference.

Since he's been here, CMC has made a huge difference.

You see where I'm going with this?

The proclamation has been to ignore all of these factors and the OL being #1 or #2 in the league is WHAT WINS THE SUPER BOWL.

Forget everything else. This silly line softens up when we have games like this and comes out in full force when we don't do well, or another team takes home a Lombardi trophy.

Let's not get lost in the hypocrisy. This is the only thing people have been arguing against.

You're saying it's a team sport, nobody disagrees with that. We are saying this game is won in the trenches and some people disagree with that.

But yeah, Brock processes so quickly, he'd certainly make the most of it.

I never said a QB playing elite couldn't win with less than a tier 1 OL. It just hasn't happened recently.

Maybe this is the year it does. Or maybe this is the year the OL reaches that tier 1 level too.

PFF can't tell time now?

Youve absolutely stated over and over you have to have a tier 1 OL to win. Everyone has seen it. Don't backpedal now.

It's won with quality qb play. It can be lost in the trenches but rarely won (9ers 2019 nfc title game notwithstanding).

I agree you need a qb with the o line. That's all. They are symbiotic but everyone knows pressure kills a a qb. They need time to throw.

Cowboys have an elite OL and looked average tonight.

Cowboys do not have an elite line. LOL. They actually are average. But TBF, our DL can make quite a few OL's look below average.

Lmao. Everyone has Dallas as a top 5 OL. They have 3 pro bowl / all pros on their OL.

Here's NC thinking again that you need 5 all pros on OL

Not even close. Maybe in the 90's. They also haven't been healthy for over 2 years. Yesterday's game was the first time the original group started together in over 2 years. And their C instantly goes down in the game. LOL.

Where do you weirdos come up this "need 5 all pros" thing!

I can keep going on.

And we come up with the 5 all pros needed based on your posts. How we need to draft 1st round OL constantly and spend in FA. If we would've only gotten Orlando Brown 😂

All good man, you're wrong. Once a while it's okay to admit it.

Haha. I wouldn't call any of those reputable OL SME's but you do you. No worries.

I'll continue to reference Trench Warefare and BT.

Haha. Admit I was wrong? Do you not remember the Trent Baalke era???

Why I said they can lose the game. But you can give a qb plenty of time and their indecision or inaccuracy can be extremely costly. See 2021 NFC title game.

Sure. But it's HOW they measure that time. Otherwise 2 different sites wouldn't have 2 different metrics on the same thing.

Reading comprehension. You need BOTH until there's actual evidence to the contrary over the recent past. Once that happens, I'll join your world, as B/W as it is.

True. It works both ways for sure.

Exactly

There was evidence. The entire 2022 playoffs. You ignore it. Of course conveniently with the 9ers it's always "well let's see how they do in the playoffs"

I've never said there's only one way to win. You have the black and white world.

If it was this one-sided, PM, TB and a host of others wouldn't have lost because they still played as well as they could.

You need both. Hopefully that's B/W enough for you.

Didn't happen. This ain't horseshoes.

But perhaps this is the year your claim becomes a reality. If so, we'll be able to adjust the parameters.

Best odds: Tier 1 QB + Tier 2 (higher end)+ OL = best formula to win it all

And if it was so necessary to have both Joe Burrow wouldn't have been one play away from winning.

And here comes the backpedal like clockwork.
