It could be the noise was a factor. Seattle's noise issue is a big problem for most teams going in there. But if you noticed the right side runs were very effective. I think a big part of it was Feliciano moving to Burford's spot and solidifying the right side run blocks. Pass protection is a work in progress, but if the right side runs are working, that always can help the pass protections in a drop back passing game.

It's a good sign, going into the Eagles game, that Feliciano did such a good job in Burford's place. He reminds me a bit of Brunskill for some reason. Ben Bartch - the recent signee - is much bigger than Kyle's usual OLineman. That, I think, is an interesting development. It might signal a scheme change to more of a gap/man blocking and more of a vertical dimension to Kyle's passing.

It's not about pivoting. It's about casting blame for the primary reasons. The defense playcalling, secondary and Brocks turnovers were BIGGER factors in those losses than either line.

Eagles just won with ther entire O line getting destroyed. Was that about their scheme? No it was their qb made the plays when needed. Brock can do similar. Ideally he doesn't have to but he's shown he has the capability. Just can't make the mistakes and have the D sh*t the bed.

Agreed that it's never one thing esp. with us. But if we come out and can't establish the run tonight early, we all know we're going to be in for a big fight with a narrower window for a win. That's all. It starts with the run.

A big part of Kyle's ball hogging offensive scheme is the run, for sure. That may be why he's recently gotten much bigger OLinemen than what he traditionally gets. Feliciano and Bartch are much bigger than McKivitz or Brendel. One of the complaints I have with Kyle is his *throw away* plays. These plays can be made more productive if he had more muscle and size on that OLine. If those throw away plays (usually runs) are more productive, then it follows that his passing game also will be MUCH more effective and efficient.
