How is it not an OFFENSIVE LINE problem?

It also looks like we alloocated extra protection on 2 out of 20 pass attempts.

That seems low for an oline with 3 linemen who have pblk scores of 41, 36, and 68.

Ihave no idea watching the games folks can't see an issue. The right side is playing like garbage and needs to get better or it's another failed NFCCG (if we make it that far) and no number 6. Purdy has dudes in his face every drop back.

Again. I never said that the O line was good in pass pro. They are around 18th in pressure efficiency the last time I checked. But the fact that the OFFENSIVE LINE has given up only 8 sacks this season means that it hasn't been poor enough to slow this offense down. The proof in that is in how many passing efficiency categories we lead the league in or are in the top five of. Colton McKivitz and Burford have given up all 8 of the OFFENSIVE LINE'S sacks. Not exactly terrible. If you actually watch the games you would see that a handful of Brock's sacks are coverage sacks. No one is open, he escapes the pocket, and they chase him down for a sack just behind the LOS. I mean we give up some of the least amount of yards per sack in the league. That doesn't happen when your QB is constantly getting sacked in the pocket.

Do I hope we address the right side of the line in the off season? Absolutely. But acting like it is the one thing that is going to end our season prematurely even though it has no basis in reality is just not logical.

Um the clearly numbers show that is factually inaccurate.

Right or wrong, we should have a better idea how we'll look against a true playoff team. Dallas was the first early test and we passed that one. Bengals and Vikings might have been playoff teams and we dropped the ball there. Good atmosphere test up in Seattle. Now Philly in Philly. It's all about momentum and getting battle ready for the playoffs.

It does not meet the eye test. The Seahawks had more time than we did to throw. TW totally dominated other than that it was not working. You will see unfortunately on the Philly game. If I an wrong I will say 4eva was right and I'm wrong. Hopefully that happens

The 6 sacks, and 12 QB hits vs 1 sack and 6 QB hits say otherwise

That's bs. Brock had 3.34 seconds on average before pressure got to him. Geno had 2.78 seconds on average.

He just showed you the time to throw numbers. Your eyes need some eye drops.

Philly game has no bearing on what we saw yesterday. They could absolutely struggle vs Philly. Philly could also absolutely struggle vs us. Only one team will get a pass for it because of a ranking that means very little.

The right side with Feliciano and McKivitz isn't garbage. It's not also the 2nd coming of the Hog's OLine either. It's decent to good, depending on the DLine it's going against. I think there's still room for improvement from McKivitz and Feliciano. Burford is a young player and if he can improve - he might get his job back. I hope he does, because that means he's better than Feliciano, and he's not a one year rental like Feliciano. All in all, the 49ers OLine dominated the Seattle DLine. I'm happy with that. The Eagles DLine is going to be like that 49ers OLine going against the 49ers DLine in practice. I hope Brock's clock in his head is speeded up for the Eagles game.

Nah most of us don't care about rankings. Yac numbers suggest the effectiveness of said units have not been all that disimilar.

Those weren't rankings.
