Ihave no idea watching the games folks can't see an issue. The right side is playing like garbage and needs to get better or it's another failed NFCCG (if we make it that far) and no number 6. Purdy has dudes in his face every drop back.

The right side with Feliciano and McKivitz isn't garbage. It's not also the 2nd coming of the Hog's OLine either. It's decent to good, depending on the DLine it's going against. I think there's still room for improvement from McKivitz and Feliciano. Burford is a young player and if he can improve - he might get his job back. I hope he does, because that means he's better than Feliciano, and he's not a one year rental like Feliciano. All in all, the 49ers OLine dominated the Seattle DLine. I'm happy with that. The Eagles DLine is going to be like that 49ers OLine going against the 49ers DLine in practice. I hope Brock's clock in his head is speeded up for the Eagles game.

I hope you are right I just don't see how folks see our line as ok. Purdy makes the line look good. They need to get better and I don't care who it is.... it's not personnel about McKivitz or Feliciano. Hope they play better so we can win.

As others have said, if the OLine played like *garbage* 49ers would not have won. It's a team game. McKivitz is a starting for the first time in his career and he's doing a good job. If he wasn't - neither Foerster or Kyle are idiots enough to keep them playing as starters. Both McKivitz and Feliciano looked good in the run game. A 49ers OLine that helped get CMC 5+ yards per carry isn't playing like *garbage.* You are entitled to your opinion, but not your own *facts.*

Pass protection looked good too, although Seattle's DLine doesn't intimidate me as much as the Eagle DLine does. So this next game is a good barometer of how good the 49ers OLine is in pass protection.

I do want to give the PP a bit more credit here even though these appear pretty accurate even by the eye test.

Brock currently has a 2.81 TTT (NextGen) which is middle of the pack. Typically under Kyle, all of his QB's have been top 5 in fastest TTT...like Tagovailoa in Miami (#1 @ 2.36) rendering PP as moot as possible.

In addition, Brock is 12th in air yards @ 8.3. In short, by holding the ball longer, and attempting longer intermediate and deeper passes, it puts more stress on PP (the whole unit).

Context.

Just looking at the Eagles draft and how they built their Offensive Line.
...From their 2018 to their 2023 drafts...
2018 - two picks: a 6th round OT, a 7th round OT
2019 - one pick: a first round OT
2020 - two picks: a 4th round OT, a 6th round OT
2021 - one pick: 2nd round center
2022 - one pick: 2nd round center
2023 - one pick: 3rd round OT

If the 49ers need additional draft capital, they should trade down a fourth or fifth round picks to generate more OLine picks in the later rounds - specially if 7th round picks can be kept for multiple years for developmental purposes. I hate these one year rentals and having to lose them the next year to free agency after they have done well in Kyle's offense. If the 49ers can basically throw away three first round picks on a bust QB, they can trade down 4th round picks to generate more draft capital in the later rounds.

Alright after watching again here is what I saw. When plays were given time the plays worked (I know Dah). The pressure came from the right side, however they did not play that bad as I remember. McKivitz was beaten badly when Purdy has to scramble right where the protection was much better. Running plays the whole line did much better. I know Run first offense but when we need pass pro from a tier one team, the right side needs to get better. We will see next Sunday how we stack up against Philly and the Hurts A$$ grabbers.

I probably need a day after the game to let my emotions relax, Lol. I still in my *Opinion* think the left side needs to play better. Seattle was hot garbage not us.

One other thing I noticed was our D was dominant. Wilks called a great game and adjustments made were timely and correct. Hope he keeps it up....Our secondary played outstanding.

"Typically under Kyle" is an attempt to answer for Kyle, without Kyle answering. Kyle has never stated anything regarding wanting his QBs to be top 5 in TTT, but you devised your comment to sound this way.

"Reading Kyle's mind" in a sense,...while purposely not acknowledging the scowl Kyle has had on his face for a number of seasons with "his QBs" of the past. So then what do the results matter of TTT matter from his past QBs, when he clearly has not been satisfied with them the way he has been with Brock?

This is attempting to dodge once again while hoping everyone can just focus on "micro-stats."

If someone is truly interested in our PP due to us having to "hold onto the ball longer",...how in the heck do they completely ignore the efficiency results of us "holding onto the ball longer"...??
