LOL. Here's the latest from BT:

OL Rankings – Week 14
Tier 1 Elite
Eagles
Cowboys
Tier 2 Very Good
Ravens
Chiefs
Lions
Tier 3 Good/Above Average
Bucs
49ers

Tier 1 DAL i called it

Cowboys O line isn't tier 1. Both the eagles and cowboys O line's have been tier 2 at best. Actually have been teetering tier 2 and tier 3 much of the season. In comparison, we have been a solid tier 4. That is out of 7 total tiers.

I agree with a lot of this. Both have the talent to be tier 1 when healthy but neither has consistently played like it this year thus far.

And the thing about it is neither of you are score-watching or QB-watching either. Just a supreme eye for talent, fixing your eyes on the OL all game, and calling it as you see it. I know it's not easy, bro. Kudos.

You have not advocated for Dallas as being Tier 1 nor said they were talented enough to be tier 1 all season. but now you are because BT said so ?

The original rankings you provided were before the season started, which would mean they were all healthy. Dallas wasn't considered Tier 1

We handed a tier 1 ass whooping to both of them and their OLs didn't prevent either QBs from bad performances so
I think this is the part where Philly and Detroit looking apocryphal (against the Bears no less) gets swept under the rug.🧹🧹

Let's just turn 100% of our focus to Dallas now.

Funny thing is Goff had 2 "solid" outings the previous 2 games and we're still on the "Tier 1" gravy train.

But then he goes out and stinks against a 4-8 team and the "Tier1-to-Tier2" OL stuff mirrors his drop. Just a coincidence tho.

Detroit looked so bad that they elevated the Cowboys' OLine level of play Sunday night -- in completely different games -- to their Tier 1 spot.

Is it possible to not have a Tier 1 OL in the whole league? Meaning if all OLs are bad, then there is no Tier 1 OL. Or is it by default, the best OL (least bad) is crowned Tier 1?

yeah, well NC said you can only win a SB if you're ranked Tier 1 OL by this one guy BThomas

"You Need Both." Emphasis on "NEED", even if there are only 2 Tier 1 OLs, and neither of them have a Tier 1 QB.

Given Dak's season and this illogical nonsense, Dallas has already won the SB.

But the rankings will change (notice how teams like Baltimore are creeping up in "tiers" little by little,.. as they play better and we inch closer to the postseason,...ha)

I'm going off of "you need only the one" (OL), before he changed to "You Need Both" (QB/OL). The days where NC said OL was the issue and not the QB

I'm glad he has realized QB is the major factor now

Oh my bad but you're absolutely right, historically. Cause Jimmy was NEVER a top QB (he admits) and he was adamant we'd win 1 with Jimmy a better OL.

It's just that the standards and the truth changes every other week so it's kinda hard to keep up.

Agree with both. Feliciano really has made that right side of the 49ers OLine look good on the runs. They might platoon Burford and Feliciano, and I think that could be a good thing. Gets Burford more reps to continue to improve and Feliciano can be in there in the 4th quarter (assuming we have the lead) and do his run block stuff. I think he's a bit better than Burford in the run blocking. I think Burford and Feliciano are similar in the pass blocking.

He did say Jimmy was a tier 2 QB. Which if we go by the tier system shown above he was a top 5 qb.

Exactly my thoughts. That whole "tier"-thing is almost always complete and utter nonsense in any context because the definition of tiers is fluent or completely missing.
