The original rankings you provided were before the season started, which would mean they were all healthy. Dallas wasn't considered Tier 1

Do you smoke...a lot?

lol, i'm just repeating what you have stated.. so who's smoking really
Feliciano has bee real upgrade - I hope he keeps starting.

DL dropped to #2 behind the Cowboys (still tier 1) and the OL remains 7th (Tier 3 Good/Above Average). Both lines are playing good ball even with injuries.

PS: The OL started as 19th and have slowly been climbing.

Thanks! Yes it seems like the line has been doing better. Obviously better at run blocking than pass blocking but I think the pass blocking has improved.

what is the site that has that info?

I agree in a sense with BT and NC on the OLine ranking. I'd rank the 49ers higher myself if they were all as physically imposing like Trent Williams is against all DLines. What lowers the OLine ranking in my eyes is that against 8 man fronts, the 49er OLine can't just manhandle DLines like the Eagles can with their Tush Push. Good news is that this OLIne is young, aside from Trent, and can and is getting better all the time. They aren't *weak* like Person's was back in 2019 - when he got dominated by Chris Jones. I don't see any of our 5 OLinemen getting dominated every play the way Person was that day.

Personally, I think to be a Tier 1, or a topflight OLIne - we need a Mike Webster type center (who can handle DT's all by himself) and an elite Right Tackle (McKivitz is pretty good though and getting better). If Feliciano/Burford can match Banks' performance - that would go a long way for me to consider the 49er OLine to be a topflight line.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how Kyle and John address the OL this off season too. Are they really going to add high end picks for C and T? Resign Feliciano?

I would think they would do their best to maybe get Feliciano another year or two with the 49ers. He is a good OLineman and adds depth. Burford is still rounding into shape, and I do think eventually he'll be a good player. I think Burford makes more mental errors than Feliciano though, and he has to fix that to get a full time starting position.

I do know the Draft Nerds say that this 2023 OLIne crop is pretty good. Assuming they are correct, then ShanaLynch definitely will be adding OLine talent this offseason. I think outside of Feliciano, the other free agents haven't shown much. I really think a good OLine is cheaper than all pro's at the skill positions - from a cap perspective.

Going from 19th to 7th isin't a sign of "improving steadily." This is the fake bill of goods sold here that -- scarily -- some here continue to buy.

It's a sign of flat-out being wrong, and/or swinging "rankings" whichever way the team is currently doing.

When we win the SB, the O line will magically be teir 1 all by themselves.
