We all are. If nothing else, some legit talent to push starters (which also, creates better backups/depth).
did two Tier 1 Olines lose this week
Feliciano has played very well and Mckivitz has played way better with Feliciano next to him. Burford is not starting material at this point. Same thing last year while splitting time.

Feleciano had a great game and McKivitz had a rare good game. Brendel had an uncharacteristically bad game. On that long TD to CMC allowed immediate pressure, which is what caused Brock to roll out left.

Brendel is more athletic than powerful. But I think a couple of those middle pressures are more with regards to communication with Feliciano than with an inability to anchor. But yeah, Brendel gave up a couple of plays to the cardinal defense.

Thorn's adjusting the tiers as we speak.

Yes! Maybe Detroit moves back into tier 1 now. Ha.

I had Jags O line at tier 1 until they lost their starting LT. Amazing how that LT position makes all the difference in the world.

Heavy doesnt = Good

I hope they find a couple big guys they are happy with given the picks they will have.

If not, I'll prefer they instinctually take who they see fit over forcing takes due to the position they play.

Agree, Left Tackle is a huge difference maker if the QB is a right handed player. I think the 49ers can get to Tier one if the 49ers have two offensive tackles (left and right) that are approaching all pro level (but not as good as Trent) and the interior be Brendel/Burford/Feliciano level players. Key is that *both* OT's are good. I think that is the hopeful future if Trent calls it a career.

I think with that arrangement - 49ers can go left and right on runs without giving the defense any tendencies.

Its almost as if teams don't have depth or something.

That is true.

You kinda wonder about Burford's durability and/or whether there is a big drop off in his performance when he is not 100% He is young so he probably needs another year or two to develop. Bank is 26 and Burford is 23.

Question, so if BP is doing it at a high level, and this is causing us to tier jump on OL, even tho it's the same OL that was tier 2-3, does this not invalidate the very tiers to begin with? is this what we would say, is happening?

It is definitely dependent on a handful of variables such as strength of opponent, health and QB play.
