Are you surprised... They did the same thing with brunskill for most of the year when he was here as well.

If history repeats itself we should expect feliciano to go elsewhere after this season for anywhere from 2-5 million and watch burford suck it up again next year ...

That is the difference. One that was also argued ad nauseum.

That maybe so but now that we are seeing it and what that looks like as its happening in real time deserves to be pointed out.

Can we repeat week 4, please? Ha. That's wildly consistent in pressures. And as you noted, that's with Brock increasing his 2.82 TTT (NextGen) to middle of the league.

Yes. The TTP has increased significantly since week 10. So the improvement is certainly there.

That's allowed Kyle to throw to set up the run more. I imagine this game will be another great test of that.

That certainly helps. The longer throws add to TTT, escapability, lower volume of throws, quality PP, Kyle's trust in BP and the PP to dial up more longer developing plays, etc.

The only real formula for beating our offense is key injuries, and stuffing the early runs and subsequently beating our PP after that.

Actually, they would need to be able to stop our run game with only 7 in the box while generating pressure consistently with only 4. Not many defenses in this league have that level of front 7. Pass pro looks respectable because Trent Williams coupled with Brock's abilities inside and outside of the pocket.

If they can pick a QB in the 7th round and be better than a guy costing 3 first round picks, I'm hoping they at least choose 2+ OLinemen in any round! Three OLine picks would be ideal for me since all the offensive skill positions (I think) have been signed for the next two+ years, or so.

Good points. Very few teams have that ability, for sure.
Lets see if they can replicate another 0 sack week against the ravens defense.

That has as much to do with how Brock and his receivers handle the ravens coverages as it does pass protection. But yes, another clean game on the sack front would be nice.

Ravens lead the NFL in sacks too

I was surprised by that. Madubuike is a beast and imo Clowney is just OK, but they manufacture massive sacks as a team.

I hope Feliciano starts since he's been really good, especially compared to Burford.

If you look at the amount of time the opposing QB's have to throw the ball before being pressured tells me that it has more to do with coverage than it does their pass rushers.

Yes, but we have Deebo and CMC for that

No doubt. With a dry field and healthy stable of weapons, Brock will light them up if the ravens give him 3.4 seconds in the pocket.

Kyle Van Noy, Odafe, and Kyle Hamilton - two linebackers and a safety - round out the rest of these guys having multiple sacks this season. This tells me they are a good zone blitzing team. Purdy practices that against our own defense with Wilks daily.

If the OLine continues to communicate and pick up the various stunts and blitzes - and does well in this game, they should be ready for the playoffs.
