The 9ers OL has moved into tier 2 for the first time this year!

OL Rankings – Week 16
Tier 1: Elite
1. Eagles
2. Lions

The Lions were moved out of Tier 1 after a bad loss and a week later after a good win, they were moved back in,...lol.

How can anyone take this seriously at this point?

And save the jubilation because the 9ers moving up isin't a milestone to be proud of. It's an embarrassment of the list to begin with. It shows that what we were told @ the beginning of the year was just a bunch of hot air.

But telling an audience "I dont know who the best OLines are" @ the beginning of the year wont sell very many subscriptions. You are pitching a service that is dependent on scoreboard results and can hardly be any more inconsistent.

Also interesting the 9ers d line ranking falls because of a poor week that was likely injury related but the Cowboys get destroyed by Buffalo up front and don't see a drop.
continuing to cite sources that one doesnt even read or understand as the foundation of ones argument is next level pathetic.

Come on dude. This isn't that hard. These are "weekly" rankings.

At the time they were made this week, this was why:

49ers – DT Arik Armstead suffered a knee injury two weeks ago against the Eagles that will likely keep him out for the third game in a row. DT Javon Hargrave missed last week's game with a hamstring injury and didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday.

They are also looking at the OL solely, not end team results in wins/losses as well as the talent available each week comparatively.

Also, if you don't agree this week, let's see yours. I'd love to hear your expert breakdowns. You still think this is a tier 1 DL without Armstead and Hargrave after watching Kinlaw and Givens get pwned the week prior? LOL

What are you even saying here, that Random is correct? You pretty much just repeated his post.

Also, what kinda comeback answer is a "no, you" show me your breakdowns when you don't even have any breakdowns yourself? Nice spin

Providing someone else's stuff that you don't really understand is not providing anything especially when the rankings move by popularity. If it were solely on OL than these are not accurate rankings based on OL results

Either way we already know you don't need a tier 1 to win

What are YOU saying? You can't get through a day without fighting with someone because you can't comprehend what they were saying and because you twist their words.

This is not a hard concept here to follow. If you don't agree with it, great. Let's hear your expert refute over SME's who do this for a living.

I can comprehend, you're the one failing right now.

I've broken it down by results weeks ago on how these rankings are not based on actual results of OL protection or run production

still haven't seen anything from you, your opinion is not fact or a breakdown

Really? I've never seen you provide more than a sentence or two based on your narrative. Please provide again. I'll wait.

As to the last point, providing a reference is NOT my opinion. It's a resource for you to do what you will with it.

I can easily see why they ranked it this way this week. If you can't, please elaborate. But you'd be arguing an OL they have ranked top 5 and a DL lower d/t key injuries and the depth performing poorly last week. In short, it would be a silly argument.

yeah, you replied with your normal insults.. you know your normal self.. like what you are doing here when you get caught in a corner. if you can't hold any data retention, it's when i brought up what separates us vs Philly since actual results that i listed are not what's being used

plus, just cause you say you know what it means doesn't really mean you know.

but like i said earlier, Either way we already know you don't need a tier 1 to win

It also could be the personnel. I haven't looked at the Dallas OLine in detail, but they may be bigger and more dominating on the run. 49ers play more of a zone type run and don't need the physicality and size that gap blocking teams do. Size and strength works on any system, but smarts and agility work on only a few kinds of offensive systems and they need a good QB/playcaller to run them.

I can't stand most of those talking heads, honestly. Their function is to entertain not educate, sad to say. Guys like JohnnyDell, AB81 are better places to spend your time.
