Brock was off all game.

Ignoring that nearly every single one of those INT's was the byproduct of almost immediate pressure, the pressure in the backfield was continual, right off the snap, play after play. McKivitz got his ass beat all night long, whether at right or left tackle. A better OL at least gives Purdy some time to operate.

Mckivits was playing better but man he laid an egg tonight.

Was he? He's been mediocre for most of the season and usually gets worked hard anytime he faces a team with a quality pass rush. People were getting way too excited over the 49ers OL holding up against a Cardinals DL of nobodies last week.

We have to play a different brand against these elite defenses. We can't do our normal stuff imo. Too much pressure. Ground and pound it.

Brock was late on the first one. 2nd one was an all out blitz he was throwing into and the 3rd one was on him for throwing across his body. 4th was the one to pin on O line.

Everyone was bad today but you lose every game you play with 5 picks.

I think people have been getting excited because they have been improving as the season has gone along. Nothing to do with AZ. Was a s**t night tonight that got s**ttier with injuries and TOs

The OL was spectacularly bad tonight and it got a whole lot worse once Trent went out. This is a bottom 5 OL without Williams, easily. If you're constantly getting beat off the snap on play after play, as an offensive lineman, wtf are you even doing out there?

Its one thing to hold up against tomato cans like the Cardinals, its something else to show that you have enough sand in your pants to stop talented and well-schemed pass rushes like what we saw from the Ravens and they failed.
they have to pick a tackle in the first next year, and it better be a good ass tackle.
I think Pryor gets claimed tomorrow

I don't know that he was "playing better" but he certainly performed better next to Feliciano than he did next to Burford
You guys are making way too much out of the offensive line. They handled the Eagles and Cowboys fronts just fine. Purdy had plenty of time to throw. The first pick was a horrible throw. The second pick was batted in the air. The 3rd pick was clear interference and got knocked up in the air. You aren't winning many games with 5 turnovers. I'm much more concerned with the secondary and our tackling.
How many years does the offensive line have to be this bad for the 49ers to address it? It's completely non functional without Trent Williams. Plus we are injured every year too. Is this like some big secret that our offensive line doesn't hold up? Especially on pass blocking.

There were no injuries in those games. We have virtually no depth on the oline and it's been that way for 3 years. More could have been done in this area but we have continued to neglect it.

A lot of teams have handled the Cowboys front just fine. The Cowboys have no interior DL presence so they are easy to run on and the Eagles pass rush has been mostly mediocre this year. They haven't been anywhere near as good as last season.

This team really got beat on both sides of the line today but it was far worse on the offensive side. There were drives where play after play you had a Ravens defender in the backfield just as soon as the ball was snapped. Guys were just getting beat and if the 49ers are serious about this team winning a SB, if they think Purdy is the guy that gets it done then they need to get serious about the OL.

That's what the Patriots and Saints both did and prioritized protecting their star QB's. Thats what the Chiefs did after Mahomes got treated like a rag doll in the SB. They went cheap this year with their tackles and the results reflect that. As long as Kyle continues to prioritize other things, you're going to have bad showings like this against aggressive defenses and likely playoff letdowns.

Yup, tackling by the defense is more of a worry for me. That's gotta be fixed. The offensive line is what it is, and we they've got the job done more times than not.
