I don't think there is one poster on here that doesn't think we should dedicate heavy draft capital to the O line.
My work here is done then. Haha.
Haha
I mean if we all agree they need to dedicate a lot capital to the OL…then the OL is clearly not that good
I just want to make it clear that this conversation shouldn't be like god and the devil. Where everything good is because of god (Kyle's sceme) and everything bad is because of the devil (O line). We have won 73% of our games this season with this O line. That includes 6 wins against teams currently sitting in playoff seeding. If we don't win a SB it won't solely be because of the devil. Do we need to upgrade the O line? Absolutely. But blaming everything on the O line everytime things don't go our way is a bs excuse and really just a narrative that a select few like to drive.
If you take the game to the Superbowl level, and typically a Superbowl team usually has very little to no weaknesses - then that's a different measuring stick. I think to win a Superbowl, you need all three at very good to elite level. (OLine, QB, and Coaching). We're not talking about an average regular season game here where the 49ers OLine has won 73% of their games. We're talking super bowl level matchups. If the Ravens vs 49ers *was* the championship game, we would have lost our 3rd super bowl. Having said that there are schematic and personnel changes, that ShanaLynch can do to have a better chance in February - but at this point given our current OLine (even if all were healthy) I wouldn't feel very confident about the OLine going into another Ravens vs 49ers championship game.

QBs are very valuable. One day you'll learn instead of putting your support behind a team strictly because of their O line.

Getting through these last 2 games with no more significant injuries is my #1 concern and #2 is the OL itself. We definitely need a health Williams and Banks. We need both of them for the playoffs.
