He's getting a lot of 49ers fans votes and people who think they 49ers are good. I'm fine with those things. Just think he isn't a Pro Bowl level player. That's a big reach IMO.

He made it last year as well. McKivitz also made it as alternate

Come on man. Nobody who actually watches the games could believe McKivitz is a Pro Bowl level player. I want him replaced ASAP.

Well that must suck for you that he made it and Brendel for a 2nd time

I don't think they are quite that good. But it's fine that they made it. Good for them. It's leading to Nick WRONG false narratives though. That's the problem. I don't think the line is as good as the hype or Pro Bowl voting would make you believe.

I'm def on board with infusing some good young OT talent via the draft this offseason.

Yes I agree for sure.

I am surprised we had 3 o line alternates. I must not see what they are seeing. Banks yes maybe Brendel but McKivitz, really? I'm glad they all made it though, when McGlinchey did not. 😆

Trent should be not only a starter on the Pro bowl team but first team all pro.

Would imagine he will be. Probably have 2-3: Trent, CMC, possibly Warner.

They aren't seeing what I see every weekend. When your team is good some players get more hype than deserved.

Maybe Purdy and Mooney as well.

Was thinking I forgot Juice. He could be there.

Would imagine Lamar will be the 1st team AP QB along with his MVP. Would guess Mooney makes 2nd team if anything

Im thinking Purdy makes second team behind Lamar if they have a second team QB.

Juice always makes it hopefully this year too.

I don't think Brendel and McKivitz are *bad* players. I think they are above average - and the scheme does help a lot. Folks see the replays where Brendel is 40 yards downfield blocking for a WR or CMC. That helps get Brendel some votes. As for McKivitz, I think he's getting better. Is he a Trent Williams - who is a legit Pro bowler and (I think) first ballot hall of famer - no, of course not. I do think, in the beginning of the season, you can make an argument that McKivitz was bad or below average, but after handling some very good defensive ends - I think McKivit does deserve a pro bowl spot. I have to give a caveat though - I think the pro bowl is more a popularity contest than a true indication of a players current level of talent. Just my opinion on that.

He's done alright but agree - he needs to be challenged by a first round level talent kind of draft pick.

Brock a product of elite offensive line - confirmed

That's BS. Our line is sub par. Other than Trent Williams and Aaron Banks. They are giving Nick WRONG ammo based on false narratives.

Agree on the OLine playing sub par - specially against the Ravens. Having said that, I think Feliciano brings up the play of Brendel and McKivitz. I think it's Burford that kind of makes both Brendel and McKivitz regress. So yes - when Burford is in there - I tend to feel that both Brendel and Mckivitz tend to have more mental errors than is normal for a - so called - pro bowl level player.

To me the pro bowl is more a popularity contest. But I also have no issues with any of our players making it. It means the 49ers are definitely a very popular team.

You also thought jimmy was a great qb, so at least you're consistent on not seeing things

as for OL, this OL is the best we've had in all of Kyle's tenure. Sub par OLs lose games, not win a lot of them and help the team get the 1 seed

Agree 💯% with that, and the nice thing about it, is it can potentially get better with more infusion of talent. Future for this OLine looks bright if Kyle does what he needs to do in protecting Purdy.

I never thought Jimmy was great. I just cheered for him when he was here. Brock_STAR is far superior. The offensive line isn't why we are winning. Many other reasons. Trent Williams and Aaron Banks are excellent. Some other guys are being overrated on voting and here too.

Jimmy is not Joe or Steve, for sure, but he was a player like Jeff Garcia (and to a certain extent) Colin Kaepernick that did great for a time, then burned out fast. Brock is just on another level entirely that the QB's I've mentioned.

We're a left handed running team for a reason, when Feliciano isn't in there.

We're not, but that doesn't answer what is sub par and Purdy decisions throw INTs
