What headache? You need both. And half of the "formula" damn near worked enough again for year 8 in a row. LOL. Hell, Goff even played "good enough" to win if not for the coaching decisions and critical drops (including DB's/Aiyuk).

Stupid take.

There's not a 9er fan left who doesn't want to improve our OL. My case was proven. Again.

You can both want a better oline and also see your equation as completely dumb. They aren't mutually exclusive. We can't even talk about improving our oline because you've hijacked the entire discusion with your fool-proof equation, but the only thing you've proved is how foolish it is to marry your ego to such an arbitrary set of numbers and rankings. You've been proven wrong, like unequivocally, yet pat yourself on the back as though you were proven right. Unreal. Take the L

Thank you.

A civil discussion about it is completely impossible,...lol.

He reforms the stupid thing multiple times and still loses
BT will have the chiefs and 49ers O line ranked tier 1 today.

Lol, what?

You've now got two teams with tier 2 OL's + tier 1 QB's playing in a Superbowl. A tier 1 OL + tier 2 QB damn near made it too. That's 8 years running of proof you need both.

You were saying the OL sucked yesterday and a big problem. But we turn around, win the game, and they are "tier 2" and were "needed" to get this far.

You were quoted as calling Brock Purdy "Jimmy G 2.0" multiple times last week when he was not looking good.

But we win the game and now he's a "tier 1 QB." When has Jimmy G ever been anything close to this? LoL.

You were literally insulting Brock over and over last week and you really don't care for the kid. Just a weak, desperate attempt to be right.

Giedi will agree, Faithful6 will stay Faithful to gaslighting as well. But I clearly outlined how you'll try to play both sides regardless of the outcome,...and that is exactly what we've seen.

You've been outed, bro.

He'd rather have Jared freaking Goff than Brock Purdy because of the O lines. That's how little he thinks of QB play. Instead of admitting how wrong he was he's still spinning he's been right the whole time.

It will never change.

9ers need to address O line, corner and run stuffing in draft. There is no doubt what the needs are. The argument was never that the 9ers shouldn't improve the O line. It was always can they win the SB with this group. The clear answer is yes. Why? Because of the QB.
What's the plan for Chris Jones?

Honestly I think they can do a decent enough job on him.

The real question is what's the plan for the blitzes. That's where the pressure came from yesterday.

Run the ball and use C Mac and Kittle in pass game. That's the key.

I feel like Jones will make some plays. He is an all pro for a reason. But I hope he is accounted for on every down. Guy is a beast. I am going to guess Jones plays mostly inside or to the right. No need to cancel him out with TW right? Its def a weakspot for us but I mean they must know its coming so hopefully they have a plan that works.

Yes! I noticed a lot of delayed blitzes by DB's from Lamar's blind side and all those blitzes really worked. Lamar was so locked in all season and looked then like he reverted to his old self.. so weird.

I think their strategy was let the d-line do their thing while keeping their lanes, but send that perfectly .8 second delayed guy in to wreck his reads and hope to get a mistake/play etc. The constant pressure worked.

I think the x factor for us in this regard is Purdy can actually move around and scramble if needed. That being said the early pressure in the game definitely affected Purdy.

Chris Jones is the #1 defensive player in the NFL in my opinion. He's more impactful than Donald right now. It's going to be tough.

For sure. The key with Jones is to keep an OL locked on him at all times, even if he drops depth so he can't knock down all those 3rd down passes. We saw a couple of those yesterday. Brock was hit and it lead to an INT Jimmy-style. We absolutely can't afford a TO this game.

In addition, Jones looked to get dinged up some too.

Yeah, the added pressure left us with just 7 points. You can bet your ass the blitz pressure will be coming.

Spagnuolo is excellent at attacking weaknesses on an offense at a level Reid is at attacking defensive weaknesses.

This is going to be an epic matchup of X's and O's and micro adjustments throughout.

I fear what Chris Jones Is gonna do to this OL.
Brock had his hand hit while he was releasing the ball which slowed the velocity and allowed the DB to make the play. That is not an INT Jimmy style.

I feel Kyle can match, we just need to identify and adjust right away. Wilks had me tossing and turning last night. It would not be surprising to see him tear wilks a new a....hole

That being said, the first half, we got destroyed in the trenches, second half the o line played well and gave Purdy the opportunities to make plays. When they failed he used his legs. The D line played better second half, but still incredibly suspect from what we expected.

Also a lot of fans keep saying no Tyreek this time, their offense isnt nearly as deadly. This is very true, but Mahommes has matured and will dink and dunk us to death. He also had Kelce who is an all time great. Those two alone will kill you if you dont do it properly.

On the flip side we ain't got no Jimmy G this time! Purdy is proving incredibly better. We will find out if he has that clutch magic in two weeks.
