Relax. It was a joke off our last bet.

Make up some OL prop bets.

Haha.

Feliciano gets pancacked in our backfield
Brock gets his arm hit
McKivitz gives up a critical pressure on 3rd down
Brock will be forced to scramble 5 times
Trent will murder a DB
Brendel gets fork lifted

Burford gives up a pressure while sitting on the bench

Yes, we *better* be good, because it's the Superbowl and if not - it's not going to be pretty.

Brendel is going to be key here because he calls offensive line protections and so he has to be able to see the blitz and call the blitz pickups.

That's more like it!

Obviously PFF only grades 2nd halfs now.

Yes true, but by bringing a talent to Trent Williams to learn during the season, it could still happen.

Better now than when Trent is gone.

I would love that. However, They've been impressive finding free agent OLine gems in Compton, Brunskill, Brendel, Feliciano in free agency. I"m betting that's probably the first thing they do, aside from trying to sign Aiyuk to a long term deal in the offseason.

As for the draft, A lot of draft nerd threads point out to a loaded OLine crop this year - I'm hoping the 49ers double and possibly triple dip on the OLine crop this next year. I don't think they need to trade up to get a Trent Williams 2.0. First of all they have Foerster who's done well with developing Banks, McKivitz, Brendel, and found Feliciano. I"m comfortable if they draft Trent's replacement in in Day two, as long as Trent buys them time to develop that day two draft pick in a year or two down the road - when Trent hangs 'em up.

Last year we kept holding our breath for an Olineman to be drafted early and it never happened. At least we got the early round kickers out of the way.

We got Feliciano in free agency, so in a sense ShanaLynch was right - Feliciano stepped in and has been instrumental these last couple of games to get into the Superbowl. McKivitz has been good enough to get us to the big dance. He gave up some pressures in the playoffs, but nothing fatal.

So far ShanaLynch has called it right on the OLine. Otherwise we'd not even smell the playoffs this year. They are pretty good knowing when a good crop of players comes, and as far as I know the draft nerds say this crop is going to be a good one. So yeah, no drafted OLinemen last year - I don't see that happening again this year considering it's supposedly a good year for Offensive Linemen.

This year there's a better group though. None of the OTs they passed on are gonna be missed long term imo.

I'm still hopeful we can get some good offensive line free agents from the bottom feeder teams. Something like a Laken Tomlinson kind of trade. Laken, a Former first round pick - we get for a 5th rounder. Something like that. I know Jim's not going to give up Rashawn Slater, but it can't hurt to ask what his price would be for getting him.

You can add Laken Tomlinson and Mike Person to this list.

Foerster hasn't been interviewed so - most likely he's going to stay, unlike some of the other 49er coaches that have been interviewed. We'll see who goes and who stays, but the deeper into the playoffs a team goes, the harder it is to poach their coaches. Foerster has done a good job turning lemons into lemondades. Just wish ShanaLynch would give him premium quality vs standard level players.

Who is Chris Foerster, as an offensive line coach, in my opinion? Did he not realize that the offensive lines needed to be trained on how to protect our quarterback?

I don't know… but he needs a 24/7 chaperone the minute they land in Vegas

OMG.

Yeah, Vegas and Foerster hope he doesn't relapse. that's the last thing we need facing Spagnuolos blitz-happy defense.

I don't know what would be more tempting for him: a Vegas or Miami Superbowl?

I'm sure we gave up 2 sacks lol... Both could've been avoided though.

O line isn't gonna be the team's biggest weakness in the next game. With Omenihu out and Brock's escapability, the only worry I have is Jones batting passes at the LOS and the risk of interceptions that comes with that.

Wanna bet? LOL

Why would I bet when I believe our OL could play well enough and we could still lose?

Predetermining reasons for wins or losses is not really my thing.

Relax. It was a joke off our last bet.

It's a desperate sales pitch.
