Somehow we're always the only team that has no excuses when it comes to injuries.

Ala the "Detroit apologies" for OL injuries,... he just apologized for KC's injuries to their OL too.

Nothing about either team's "offensive systems", "training regimens", or other players being responsible for their injuries. Detroit and KC simply caught some bad breaks at the wrong time.

So regardless who wins and loses, both sides are well-played and covered once again this coming weekend. #CantLose

You have to call attention to the holds, but unlikely it will affect the calls. Refs in the playoffs aren't going to call obvious holds for the simple reason that they just don't do it.
Asked if it's true there is holding on every play, Bryant said, "Pretty much." He explained he focuses on the point of attack and how much the restriction impacts the play when deciding when to throw a flag.

.

I don't believe that. With the media talking about it this much, I bet it'll be a talking point by the announcers during the game, at very least more people will be watching for it and the refereeing this year has already come under a lot of fire. They obviously aren't going to call it on every play, but if this even forces them to call it 2 or 3 times it's a win.

It might help. But I think you still have to outscore Patrick.

Who is Chris Foerster, as an offensive line coach, in my opinion? Did he not realize that the offensive lines needed to be trained on how to protect our quarterback?

I don't know… but he needs a 24/7 chaperone the minute they land in Vegas

OMG.

Yeah, Vegas and Foerster hope he doesn't relapse. that's the last thing we need facing Spagnuolos blitz-happy defense.

I don't know what would be more tempting for him: a Vegas or Miami Superbowl?

If we win.... by all means... relapse

Totally. And I already love his pressers...zero filter and talks forever and he's brutally honest. Basically, he already talks like he's on the white dust. LOL

If the refs aren't gonna call holding on the Chiefs OL then we might as well hold too? Unless the refs are favoring the calls one way.

Kyle needs to call plays away from wherever Chris Jones is lining up. He's a mismatch for everyone on our interior OL. Keep the action away from him, and we can also potentially pull our guards to have more favorable matchups having them block their DEs and outside backers/safeties.

This is my thought also. Considering they are so lax on those OLine holding calls.

Traps and screens might slow them down, but those blitzes - if called on a screen or a trap - might blow the play up. Got to be prepared for the 49er offense to be inconsistent all day. Spagnuolo's defense is feast or famine. If Kyle can catch Spags on a bad defensive call - it could be a TD. Another way to calm a blitzing defense is to just run at them, 8 man front or no 8 man front.

He'll play plenty of DE against Colton McKivitz for sure.

Watching Get Up I think I'm understanding where the idea that the Niners aren't any good comes from. Tannenbaum said McKivitz has given up 13 sacks in the post season. Purdy only been sacked 3 times this postseason. Did he give up 10 on some other team?
