8 straight years of being proven wrong on this topic must be brutal for a few left in that camp in here.

#Pivot!

We went up against a QB that transcended lol. One of the great all time transcenders. With that said, OL s**t the bed and Brock has been covering for them/transcending all year. But no one can transcend Chris Jones being in their lap at the snap of the ball. With a QB like Brock, we'll see if OL strategy changes.

Not at all. He had 3 points in the first half. Second half they both stepped it up. He's proven when he doesn't have at least a top 6 OL, he gets destroyed in Superbowls. And he's the best and most extreme example in the game for the aforementioned crowd.

You need both. IMHO, of course.

As to the rest, spot on. If this doesn't motivate ShanaLynch to change their team building strategy, nothing will. Over-prioritizing the DL is a proven losing strategy in a passing league. Prioritize the QB + OL. We're half way there!

Good breakdown of the Oline losing the game (esp. Burford and McKivitz)

Thanks for posting!

I detailed the same inside-out foundation yesterday for NY85. Glad Boone covered it extensively. BOTH Burford and McKivitz are at fault here. Burford is the primary issue though.

You didn't detail s**t. You parroted some stuff, incorrectly of course, that you heard Schwartz outline then tried to take credit for it as though you knew what you were talking about lol . Par for the course for you,
Now it's a top 6 OL 🤣..such a loser

No one has been proven wrong more this year than him and yet he still argues he was right because the team couldn't hit a 3rd and 4 play to win game in regulation.

Never mind the team he singled out as not having a good enough OL to win anything won everything. A complete massive fail.

*also we went up against refs who let everyone play which imo = automatic advantage to Mahomes.

10 point swing from turnovers was the biggest reason for the loss imo. Needed to have a clean game and they weren't able to do it.
You had ONE JOB. to block Chris Jones.

you do that correctly, you win.

What makes it even more frustrating is that burford wasn't even supposed to have been in there, and not only was he, but he decided to ad lib on one of the most crucial plays. But same could be said for burks vs greenlaw etc. s**t happens I guess

Who could have guessed such an unknown, under the radar player would have made an impact

We all know that Chris Jones is easy to block.

LMAO.
Final recap. The team with the #5 defensive line and #6 offensive line (4th best overall balance) going into the playoffs won it all. We were right there too...it took overtime to edge us; what you'd expect with 2 evenly matched trenches.

Trenches matter. It's still football. Water is wet.

That Brandon Thorn and TrenchWarfare are pretty smart dudes.

Why would we suddenly try this tactic? It's not like it's happened in the past in another Superbowl or something. Geesh.
