Most of us that are pushing for better protection for Brock are serious fans and not just... they'll win because we want them too. We have seen open Ayuik or others and Purdy can't get enough time to find them. Be serious, it's not about being right about some point it's about winning a Superbowl.

Don't feed the trolls.

I'm this instance you can credit Kyle for Jimmy having any success after watching the raiders.

With Brock if they don't do something with the right side of the line, the 2023 participation Trophy is as high as we go with Kyle. Scary how every year we talk about it and nothing gets done. This is the last year wth this team. They should have over paid for Hunt. Cut someone else or trade Aiyuk. This line is not good enough.

No, 1 person talks about it every year and places full blame on it while gloating when they lose, and a couple simps take it as gospel. . And lmfao to the bold. Wow

Nah, there is one person here who absolutely gets downright giddy when they lose n the playoffs and is in this thread minutes after each loss gloating his ass off and telling everyone how right he is and the receipts are all there each year. It's called being a narcissist

They were one Brock Purdy read away from winning the SB. The idea that they aren't good enough is ridiculous. Doesn't mean they shouldn't get better but overpaying for mediocre talent is never a recipe for success.

The 9ers aren't gonna win with just Brock and the 2024 version of the Cowboys 90s lines. You need a TEAM to win the SB. The focus should be improving EVERYWHERE possible.

Gore has posted numerous times all the teams that have focused all their investment in the O line. It hasn't worked for any of them. This game isn't as simple as win at LOS no matter how simplistic some want it to be.

If we don't get an OT and center/guard in the first 3 rounds, we really gotta wonder wtf is the FO thinking at that point.

There is definitely one person who put money on them losing. Who makes a bet in hopes of losing money?

Would depend on who they selected with those picks. Secondary is still a major concern for those that care about more than just one position group.

Truth.

I don't mind snagging safety in 3rd or 4th and LB with the other 4th, It would just be a pretty good idea to get OT and center in first two rds.

There is going to be some disappointed fans around here expecting to get a center on the 1st 2 days

We WANT an OT. Lol....I can guarantee you and I'll try to refrain from saying why it's pretty obvious for the 50th time this offseason.

But I don't want a team that drafts positions. I want a team that drafts players.

If anyone ever has mock drafts of successful "position" drafts while ignoring names that turned out accurate then by all means,...please share.

Otherwise,...it would be great if we really discuss the possibilities instead of positional obsession.

Drafting a position doesn't make someone a good pick.

Agreed.

There's gonna be a lot of upset fans If we don't address the OL with at least one the first two picks.

4eva always like your points you make. That one read however would have been a lot easier with a guard to block someone lol. When you have a QB like Purdy who is shorter than normal for a *QB* (I'm 6'1" and considered tall), you need to let him make reads without the line collapsing. We have to get better there as of 1st importance. We do need an all around good team but IMO we look pretty good in all other position groups other than the secondary. I would look to figure something out to fix it. Even if we trade the 1st pick and move back to take a few more day 2 Oline picks. Or if we get closer to our spot with one of the top tackles left, trade up and grab someone. It's harder to find someone to help us this year in the draft however. Would rather of had a FA. Next year we are going to lose some talent so this year is our last shot for a while IMHO.

They can and should absolutely beef up that right side and get some Ts in the pipeline. What I don't get about your logic is let's help purdy, but THEN advocating getting rid of his best WR so the can massively overpay for a slightly above average, injury prone RG.
