We got the new Trey Sermon and Donte Pettis today what are you worried about.

What it all comes down to. I would've gone with Kingsley but if they don't like him then they don't like him.

Be nice if Puni could play RT so Jaylon could finally focus on Guard. Still think he can be a starting RG in NFL.

Agreed. And I would have taken powers at 31 but I know I'm in the minority there. They ignored o line again.

I do like the puni pick but as we've both shown there's a lot that needs to go right.

I think they could've gotten an immediate starter at RT and RG. With that said, I hope Puni can beat out McKivitz. If he can, that changes things immensely for our starting OL. Feliciano is good at RG (no platooning with Burford). Puni may potentially beat out McKivitz, but unfortunately even if they picked my guys Frazier or JPJ, we were never replacing Brendel in year 1. Not exactly my dream scenario of two new starters, but it'll be better next year if Burford and McKivitz are out. I do like McKivitz in the swing tackle role for now however (last year, Jaylon Moore was that guy). So it's small upgrades on OL and big upgrades on how we can attack a team offensively.

You're not alone. I'd have done the same, but can't hate on the Pearsall pick. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a starting 1k yard receiver by 2026. Let Deebo play out his deal and walk for another big pay day.

Board didn't fall in their favor and they didn't value Kingsley.

Then they should be good at their jobs and move around in the draft. 1st round can be a little tough maneuvering around but the other rounds they can easily move up for a player or move down to where they think the value is better. Way better manipulating the draft to your favor then saying "screw it, we'll draft a WR5 and a RB 2/3 instead because we dont like the current value at OL"

Drafting 1 Olineman in a draft stacked with Olineman in the first 4 rounds when we had as many picks as we did to move around is a failure.

I just posted in the Lynch thread. I like their picks. The players are very good, but I hate that they ignored o-line early.

We need two things to happen. Stay incredibly healthy along the line and then everything rides on Puni.

He needs to be better than mckivitz and start week one. If that happens I hope the line play is improved next season.

Tell us again how much you hate it.

Should've just Ricky Williams things for Joe Alt.
If we'd just have overdrafted Puni @ #31 overall, Cisco's here doing cartwheels.

Would be interesting to see how people would react to a Ricky Williams or Trey Lance trade for a tackle.

I do expect us to have some nice comp picks in 2026 between Banks, Lenoir, Jennings, Hufanga, Greenlaw and perhaps more. I don't think we lose all of those guys, but 1 or 2 key guys could be gone.

It will be more than 1 or 2

Mooney is also a FA

BA if we can't get a deal done as well.

Banks is definitely gone after next year. He's not worth the 10-15 mil a year he will get as a FA.

Lenoir/Mooney one of them will probably be gone as well.

Greenlaw all depends how he comes back from his injury. Same with Huf.

Jennings, that's a big unknown. Imo, he will take a 1 year prove it deal around 10 mil just so he can go to a team where he can be a #2 option. Gonna be sad when it happens
