Is Feliciano getting snaps at center? I don't recall?

I hate a 6'6 center but he's been looking good so far

With Banks being very good (in college at least), Puni as well and even the center we signed as an undrafted free agent, I'm glad we are emphasizing this now.

The only real difference is Puni. That being said he looks really good from what I am reading and seeing. Banks imo is decent, but many argue anyone next to Trent looks better than they are. I wonder if they want or will be able to retain him next year.
Center and RT are pedestrian. I hope to see improvement from McKivitz, but Brendal is who he is. I would be pleasantly surprised to see anyone supplant him and improve that spot.
If Puni proves good he will elevate the C and RT regardless to a degree. As far as runblock vs passblock, tbh whenever TW is not playing they aren't very good at either.

I hope Puni is good when the live bullets start week 1. I don't see why it is so hard to find good quality G's & C's? I can see how Tackle's are tough to find and why they are so expensive, but interior guys who are scheme fits shouldn't be this hard to find.

I agree, we just need to start emphasizing pass protection bc we already are starting to draft more guys that excel in pass pro as opposed to run blocking. Now that a quarterback that is so damn good we gotta "take care of the hands that take care of you" - isotoner gloves

The two existing starters on the OL, Jake Brendel and Colton McKivitz both miss their blocks here. And this is routine stuff in this offense. pic.twitter.com/zBcOgev0B7

Personally, I think Shrader missed the cutback lane because the defense was overrunning the play. I could possibly see a small cutback lane just behind Puni as soon as he makes contact, but then again, it maybe just me seeing something not athletically possible by Shrader.

1) Brendel is JAG, but expecting him to scoop out the mike LB on this play is dumb, or does that person want him to get flagged for a block in the back? 2) this zone toss play works much better when LBs are forced to respect the jet action with Deebo on the field. Good chance Brendel reaches the Mike if they're forced to take a read step towards the motion.
more of a good play by 52 than anything else.

Not sure it was possible. The facts still remain that Brendal and Mckivitz didn't block the two guys who made the tackle.. To be fair that's not an easy block for Brendal
