According to my eyes PFF is blind lol

Because you don't watch other teams O line with an objective lens. It could be a LOT worse.

How does watching another team have anything to do with our team unless they are our opponent that week?

The basis of NY post is that the 9ers OL is 13th overall. You said your eyes say that is untrue. How would you know it's untrue if you aren't watching anyone else?

The whole point of position rankings is comparing that unit to the other teams in league.

That won't matter come playofff time. That's my point.
How would you even know that, is the point

If Jimmy hits Sanders or Brock sees open Aiyuk on 3rd down it wouldn't have mattered either.

A top 12 O line is good enough to win it all. Much more concerned about coverage than anything else on this team.
This OL can look decent against lesser talented teams like Seattle & the Patriots. Yet when playing against better teams with talented DLs, Brendel and McKivitz are completely overmatched and exposed.

Purdy & this team deserve a better OL - specifically a better C & RT.

We'll see if the philosophy changes. The guys getting paid to score touchdowns aren't scoring many touchdowns. A line can be remade in a year.

That was my point earlier but it falls on def ears with a few fans. The protection is also ruining Purdy and giving him happy feet. The dude is only human and everyone knows he is the type of qb that needs a good line.

Really hoping the philosophy does change somewhat. This past draft was known to have some quality OL coming out and that talent is showing up already this season. While thankful the Niners drafted Puni, really wish they would've drafted one more with their higher picks.

Agreed, and you should WANT to give a QB like Purdy, who has shown to be a playmaking QB & one who can run this offense well, a very good OL from left to right that can win consistently in the trenches against any team.
The oline might as well not show up since they can't protect anyone.
The OL was an obvious weak spot coming out of last season and not enough effort was made to address it in the offseason. Puni is looking like a stud but Brendel is a bottom-2 center. Mckivitz is marginally better than last year but he's good for several oles every game. Banks is up and down. As someone pointed out earlier in the thread the pressure is getting in Purdy's head and affecting his play.

Center and RT still an issue
Who actually believes that we have a good oline? I don't care about any website that tells me how our oline is. I can see it on TV. AND it sucks!
Feliciano said he was ready to go last week? What's the deal here?

Feliciano can't be activated until after the bye because he was on the early IR designated to return, but he might have his practice window opened.

With Aiyuk going to IR, we probably will use that spot for Jon after the bye. I think we will temporarily elevate Trent Taylor this week while Deebo recovers.

I also don't think we should waste future assets trading for a receiver. We picked Pearsall and Cowing for a reason. Unless we miraculously could get someone like Cupp, I say no to trading for anyone who's not OL, LB, or S. I don't want a RB either.
Is Feliciano immediately the starter at Center?
