On top of letting Banks walk and replacing Brendel and McKivitz, I think you need to consider firing Chris Forester.

His vets are regressing, and no one else ever improves. McKivitz is still trash. Burford regressed last year No one got even slightly better. And no young guys in development behind them ever show any improvement. That's on coaching.

The fans here seem to think that you need 5 Hall of Famers on the offensive line.

They have a HOF tackle and a Pro Bowl guard, as well as another solid guard. You can't even name most of the linemen on any other team in football.

The problem is Kyle Shanahan. The reason Brock gets hit so much is bad scheming vs. the blitz.

This system requires a great center. We have to replace Brendel at minimum.

Yet our FO is making no attempt to acquire a great center.

Nobody's system requires a great center. You can't name the centers for most SB winners.

The 49ers have had this problem every year since Kyle has been here, and they've had numerous different centers, including 6-time Pro Bowler Alex Mack.

Uh yeah I can. Creed Humphrey was a dawg and I wanted him over Banks but thanks to Lynch.. We got the trash guy instead of the all pro

let Banks walk
Sign Ryan Kelly in FA
Draft an OT that can be the successor to TW/compete with CM at RT and/or slide inside for the first year.

This is where I am at, but please let me just vent again one more time.

How the HELL did they not address center or take a stab at tackle this past draft. The talent was there, it's so frustrating to me!

Logical thinking is what you said, Forester is bad and is steering Kyle incorrectly. I think he needs a new OL coach for sure. Thank god they struck lightening with Puni.
I think Foerster is back on that candy. It can be the only explanation.
The week spot is not Mckivitz it is Brendal and Banks. Mckivitz has plays that make you bang your head on a tree but it seems everytime we have a big play called back Brendal or Banks are the main culprits. And they suck in general as well. Feliciano would be an upgrade to either, hell Moore would be better than banks at this point.

I agree and I think structurally it's a lot easier for a coach to scheme, and a qb to work around one bad tackle vs a bad center and/or guards. Pressure up the middle kills an offense.

Shany prefers hands on balls.
I would shift Puni to RT at this point and slide McKivitz inside. As for the left side of the line, I don't know. Trent is just not as effective as he was last season. I'm not sure if it's injury or age or perhaps a combination of both. But something isn't right with his game.

Other than Puni, the 49ers have not seriously addressed the OL through the draft. They have tried to build or maintain it with late picks in the sixth and seventh rounds. But those choices have largely been ineffective.

Games are won and lost up front. That has been very telling this season.

what's telling is Brock having the highest TTT stat.. so there are other factors
Why tf do we refuse to activate Feliciano!?!!🤬🤬🤬 You can't honestly tell me that trash a** Burford, Zakelj, and Bartch deserve to be on the active roster over him.

If we don't activate him by Monday, he's on ir the rest of the year, and I'd bet he'd be pissed to the point of bashing us and would never come back despite definitely being one of the best five IMO
