Faithful just making s**t up. I was part of a lot of those convos with NC. Not one single person said we shouldn't try to improve the OL. His thought process of what really mattered and how to fix it was the problem.

we had damn near the same OL last yr (worse RG) and they were putting up 30+ a week.

SF's stud players aren't playing to the ability they should be and have in the past. They've been forced to play a lot more rookies and backup level players because of injuries. The D isn't remotely close to what they were in the past. We don't have that crazy elite level QB that can take over games with lesser talent around them..

It's not difficult to see what the problems are.

We have let both lines dry up, pointless arguing which is more costly. We going nowhere with this Dline and we going nowhere with this Oline.
Address both if you want to win anything period.

It's unlikely that they can find significant upgrades in the draft. Most O linemen need some time to adjust to the NFL game. They might need to go shopping for a couple free agents that have a little left in the tank.

D linemen are easier to find and they can have an immediate impact. It seems there are usually more good D linemen in the draft than O linemen.

Trent isn't going anywhere after just getting an extension. He's still top tier until he's not. Puni looks like the real deal. Colton is serviceable and I doubt he's replaced next yr. Moore has actually looked legit as a LT these past couple weeks. Keep him around.

Center is very important to this offense. They call all the protections. Brendel needs to pack his bags and go to the butt bench where he belongs. They need to find another LG, which overall shouldn't be hard.

The DL is a mess. Hargrave was suppose to be the man and as a pass rush he's been good. He's always sucked as a run defender. I like Collins and Anderson has promise. We got nothing at DE outside of Bosa. Floyd has been super underwhelming. Jackson is a bust. YGM ain't it. We need multiple picks to go there imo. If the DL stinks the D has no chance.

build up the trenches and let everyone compete.
With Brock's deal on the horizon, I don't know how much money we will have to spend on outside free agents, but Ryan Kelly, Josh Myers (although PFF actually has Brendel rated higher), and Drew Dalman (his Dad played for the Mooch teams so that would be cool, he has pretty good PFF grades too) are all free agents. With Kyle's aversion to playing young players at the position I wonder if we can afford to look that way in free agency. I think if we were to upgrade that position it could be as impactful if not more so than if we brought in a RT.

Well another week to see what we have in Moore and Bartch.
Sucks that Bartch got injured at the beggining but Moore looks really solid.

Any chance he can play RT next season or he is a LT only.

What happened with Moore? He looks really good.
High ankle sprain for Bartch, per Kyle.

That means we see Burford for at least two more weeks. He was not bad today.

He's better at LG than RG

That'd be excellent.

They both need some new competition but I think the o line is the the worst of the two , you get Noss back health we are a lot better
O line sucks aside Puni.
My god seeing some clips and the OL, especially Banks were so f**king bad in the run game. s**t needs to change
