We have some solutions on our current roster if we chose to rearrange our line intelligently. But I feel like that's a lot to ask from Chris F sometimes..
It feels like locker room politics are in play to have guys on the roster who shouldn't even be here.
Some lineups that I think could work:
Trent - Moore - Bartch - Puni - McKivitz
Trent - Bartch - Puni - McKivitz - Moore
A quality rookie replacing the lowest tier guy is obviously something I'd like too..

There's nothing linking offensive linemen to offensive production of any kind. They're a waste of resources when you "invest" in them. Scheme is what matters when it comes to "line" play.
Also, much of the pressure on Brock has been from bad blitz pickup from the 89 different running backs. There's nothing you can do about that, because the running backs are GOING to get injured, and most backs are not great in blitz pickup.

Sign Center Drew Dalman- best free agent Center, would fit system perfectly, and grew up 1 1/2 hours away from San Francisco so they could have an advantage.
Draft OT in Round 1- Banks and Simmons are the best fits
Draft a G in rounds 2-4 to compete at G. Scheme fits Mbow, Kandra, Fairchild, Colby
This line is playoff caliber
Trent - Bartch/rookie - Dalman - Puni - Banks

If they don't get Drew Dalman (honestly having second thoughts on him due to him battling injuries), I'd take Josh Myers (2nd round pick 2021 GB) he's started the last three seasons and only committed 4 holding penalties and 2 false starts.

So who's starting Monday?
Guessing it's Heck - Zakelj - Brendel - Puni - McKivitz
Pleasant backing up LT and Hennessy backing up the IOL.
They have to call up someone so I'm guessing it'll be Gutierrez as he can play both guard or tackle.

Draft a center and build what you want.

Ya he's gone.
We've spent like 4-5 years trying to develop him and he couldn't even take a backup T spot. That's pretty ridiculous.
One change I would like to see next year is replacing Forster with a new OL coach. When he said about a month ago that we don't need to spend high picks on the OL because skill position players are more important that's fine and all. However, if that's the case then you better be able to develop young players well that aren't drafted early. Which he hasn't done at all.
Puni is great, but he would've been great everywhere else basically. Eagles for example have several starters that are pro bowlers, that were drafted very late and one guy was even a UDFA.
