This is what I'm wanting to address our Center position this off season.

We also need to find a 3rd rounder for Trent Williams type trade lol...
you want a more expensive Brendal ?

explain how he's a more expensive Brendel, I remember you brought this up in a different thread and I showed some stats but you never responded. You seem to be enshrined with bringing in Josh Myers instead, whom is even rated worst than Brendel though..

I've already pointed out that hes been trending down every year dating back to his best year which was about 3 years ago... other posters have also mentioned this, but you really want Myers instead for some reason. So bring up some facts and stats that says Josh Myers is better than Dalman and I would agree 100 %

Like literally the only thing Myers wins vs Dalman is that he's played around 500 more snaps, so experience and is 10 lbs heavier lol... but like I said show me how Myers is better than I will completely agree.
I guess we should have to go back and watch the actual games. Up until Myer's late injury he's been reliable and had a great game individually against the 2nd best, maybe thee best set of DTs last week in the playoffs. Was posting in the playoff thread in real time about it.

Dalman, sorry I got the B2.0 nick name from someone here. I've only watched one game against the raiders and he and company turnstiled that game bad enough to where Cousins was benched because cousins wasn't fast enough to dodge all the guys coming at him. So the B2.0 stuck in my head when Dalman's name comes up.

I don't have any fancy numbers or ready made clips. I only have my knowledge when I watch actual guys play. I don't trust PFF or any other site to tell me how a player is. Maybe more clips will start coming out when FA gets closer.

Well there's not much more to add here if its just trust me bro lol....I want to be proven wrong here because Myers will most likely be cheaper and if he turns out to be better then that benefits the 49ers and Purdy. Anywho moving on then.
hey i posted in real time of what i saw going on.. and you were there eating popcorn in the same threads lol.. Not going to spend money and time to reshow you games you watched when we probably don't sign these guys

Sat i won't be able to sit and watch the games but sunday i will post a FA watch.. it's up to anyone if they want to watch the guy

I don't remember if I was here in real time when the Eagles played the Packers lol...I was here for sure the Vikings game... Dalman might be too expensive for us, but there a chance for Myers due to that injury.

Ehh, I don't want to spend too much time watching film... let me see if I can even find any film on either one with youtube search.
more film from the guys who do it regularly will come out when it gets closer to FA. I don't want to do that much research for guys who might not even sign here

All we can do is just try to keep watch the guys play when it's win or go home

It is pissing me off that last year had like 6 centers considered starting caliber and this year the first guy is a late 3rd early 4th. Make it make sense!

I know.........why......Why.........WHY????

If Nick Zakelj or Drake Nugent can't beat out Brendel, Kyle and Foerster need to abandon this whole develop the O line with low picks thing. We are going to have to take some IOL at the start of day 3 and hope for the best between two rookies, Nugent, Zakelj, and Burford.

They should go OL in the first and third round. Take a tackle and a center and build the OL of the future around them and Puni. See if Puni can be the LT of the future because unfortunetaly Trent is not eternal.

Not sure I 100% believe that. Kyle/Lynch haven't paid for guards but they have paid for centers.
Realistically, I'd expect them to target a veteran free agent C to replace Brendel, add some other depth in free agency, then use the draft to target more help at G/T.
I can't see Kyle waiting till the draft and trusting a rookie C.

Well they've shown they are pretty bad at picking the right ones and developing them. And if they want to draft a C, wh the f**k didn't they do it last year when they were aplenty. They need a C who can step in now.

Did Matt really say that? He's losing it

We either traded or signed a journeyman in FA more than we drafted and developed

Becton a URFA

Becton is a iffy player because last year he wasn't good with the jets, but this year is better. Could that be due to having the best Oline coach and having better players around him. I don't think he'll go cheap as well.
We need to find help somewhere for our O Line.

It might be the move to Guard that help Becton

It could be definitely. If he's cheap and available for us I wouldn't mind going after him since hes been on my radar too.
I remember reading about Puni that he can play all 5 positions on the OL. What do yall think of moving him to either C or RT and finding another Feliciano type to play gaurd? Then draft another T and G
